Beautiful park, lots of nicely landscaped areas with green space to picnic and wide pedestrian walkways. The food trucks that come to the park are also really excellent. Plus, you get a nice breeze off of the lake. Public transit stops nearby so it's easy to get to.
During the summer this spot is a must visit since all of the summer events take place here! Last weekend was Salsa on the beach, and it was nicely set-up to allow lots of room for dancing and the stage sound was at the perfect volume to be heard through out the park! Hope to be back here next weekend for Afro Fest.
Was there twice for Canada Day Celebrations. Family with kids, couples, solos… good place to enjoy the picnic for everyonr. I saw some people even brought picnic tables for 10 people, camping chairs, picnic blankets to make themseleves comfortable. Tend to have repeated vendors for food trucks. Food can be a little pricey if you don’t bring your own food or snacks. Lots of portable restrooms equipped with toilet papers & hand sanitizers available. Lots of shady area under the tree to watch concert from the distance.
cool place to enjoy beach sports such as kayaking, peddle board, volleyball. Although water is not very clean, smells little bad but fair enough to swim consider of location.
This a huge park. Closer to the beach. There is roller skating in the area. Long trails to enjoy walking and biking. There is station for city bike rentals. Lots of things to enjoy. Parking along the road. Accessible by bus.
I recently visited Woodbine Park for the Rose Picnic event and as you can tell from the pics I am attaching had an absolutely EPIC time! The park is the perfect venue for an event like this
The event wasn't great , limited food variety, park itself is great
The fair was awesome, so was the food. For a cheap price of 10 dollars, the fair did a great job at raising awareness for epilepsy. Even without the fair, on its own the park is a great place for all ages. The park has amazing views of the cn tower, and has a nice flat area perfect for sports. Like I said great place for all ages.
Nice little park that's across from the beach. Offers a small splash pad. Restrooms available. Benches around the pad, the playground and around the park. Bring a bike or scooter something to ride through the path. Nice & clean. A great place to spend a nice summer day.
We visited Woodbine park today for a walk with our dog and usually visit the park every summer during festivals which are very common. The area is treed with paved paths and actually very warm without cold winds and very nice during January. Woodbine Park is 30-plus acres and home to many festivals throughout the year. Located at the northeast corner of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Coxwell Avenue, Woodbine Park hosts the annual Beaches Jazz Festival and Canada Day celebrations, among other family friendly activities. The park also boasts a skateboard park, which is located south of Queen Street East. Woodbine Beach is another extension of this park and includes a boardwalk and cyclist trail, which is a continuation from Kew Gardens. Within the park is the Woodbine Splash Pad, which operates through the summer. Woodbine Park is at 1695 Queen St. E.
