Woody's Pub on Brunette

Used to come here quite a bit when it was the go to local pub. Was in the area with friends and family before going bowling. It was a Tuesday night, so pretty empty. Waitress seemed to have more important things to do. Only bothered to bring 1 menu for the 6 of us. They must get their wings from the reject pile that nobody else wanted. Tiny and no meat whatsoever. Ordered the fish tacos which the waitress sold me on as being her favourite. It consisted of tiny pieces of deep fried fish stuffed into a tortilla shell. Very little fish, tonnes of batter. Drinks were fine. Would of given 1 star, but still remember the glory days of Woody's. I'm sure it would of been better on a Friday or Saturday with bands playing, but why bother opening your doors if you are not even going to try and make your guests want to return.

Love this pub! Never a boring minute - there is always a game on TV, or something to do. We love the Buzztime trivia, but there are also Keno + Pacific Hold Em screens. The food is good with reasonable prices, the drinks are awesome and great value! Great specials, too. The Sunday special menu is the best value in GVA!

Solid pub with $0.35 wings. Beer served absolutely perfect. Cold and carbonated. Stick with the specials otherwise the food can be quite expensive for the quality. Very friendly service. Could wait a bit when you first sit down, but once your first order has been taken, the service is consistent thereafter.

It can be hit and miss sometimes. Bartenders are great since they will actually take your order. A few times I've waited over half an hour, and not one server has come over to take an order or even greet you. However, I've also been there when the service has been awesome Like I said, hit or miss, but recently, it's been mostly misses. :(

I go here for the Sunday breakfast. Its amazing food for only $4 hard to find a better deal! I would rate this 5 stars if the coffe didn't suck so much. The coffee tastes like instant coffee that was made 3 days ago and was re warmed. So don't even try the coffee but go for the breakfast! Have a beer instead.
