We came to celebrate our anniversary! Now I understand why they are always bustling. We live a short walk away and walk by all the time. The food was delicious and I appreciate the sustainable sourcing. The atmosphere indoors is very cozy, and the outdoor patio is popular as well.
Lovely restaurant, delicious food, with a consistent locavore point of view. Woods Hill prides itself on sourcing the best quality ingredients from the area, a promise well executed. The table and room were comfortable in a relaxed, chic way. Our starters were a lovely fresh salad and a bowl of corn chowder. The chowder was the only dish that wasn't quite right - neither hot nor cold, a rather thin broth but its' swirl of flavored oil was delicious. We had scallops and lamb, both were impressive. The plates were beautifully composed also. Nice service, and I must not forget the good crusty bread and sweet butter on the table. A really good meal and fairly priced for top rate ingredients and skillful preparation. Reservations are a must.
This place is amazing. Ever dish was just incredible, well thought out, interesting, great new takes on classics in awesome ways. Décor is beautiful and warm and welcoming Will be back often because this place is AWESOME. I wanted to add a little later that if you can, get seated in the section worked by the Awesome Dark Haired server with the glasses. I think her name is Andrea? Something with an A. I LOVE her as a server because she is not shy with her opinion and it is RIGHT when she gives it. You ask her what is better and she doesn't give you the "Oh I love everything" speech. She recommended we try the Broccoli last time I came and I have never tasted broccoli so good. THANK YOU!!! Parking: Parking lot and street parking.
The HOSPITALITY is always top notch. The waiters go above and beyond to always make a celebratory night special. They must keep a record of the their customers because they remember our anniversary every year. They also make your every day eating experience fun and welcoming. This place feels like a hug. The wood beams, industrial lighting and stone fireplace pull you in with a rustic but trendy vibe. It’s hard to find a trendy looking place out of the city and Woods Hill always hits that spot for me. Now for the FOOD. Get the pasta, soup or apps. Unfortunately the entrees have always been a let down . First of all for a farm to table place the menu doesn’t change very often. Although it changes seasonally the food year to year is the same. Entree Details: The duck confit is very sweet. The porchetta was very dry. The scallops although well cooked were underwhelming. I’d love if they could work on balancing flavors and textures. Pasta Highlights: Cavatelli with short rib - perfectly paired with radicchio and picked peppers. The breadcrumbs on top made for one homey dish. Summer pasta with chorizo and eggplant - again very well balanced and tasty Bolognese- Very fresh and you can tell it’s homemade
I happily give Wood Hills Table five stars. I happened across this place in my journeys. The food was excellent and fresh, the staff was friendly and professional. I noticed a bunch of reviews mentioning the broccoli. Yes, it is the best broccoli ever, and a big portion. Everything from the drinks to dessert was great.
Excellent experience. The ambiance was great and they had a wonderful spot for our large party for a birthday. Super professional staff. Food was delicious. We shared several apps then each had mains. Food was properly cooked and flavors were on point. Wine menu was we excellent too. They really dropped the ball on desert. Nothing interesting, just an obligatory afterthought.
One of the best interior design of any restaurant I have been, whether the US, Europe or Asia. The atmosphere, largely due to the decor is brilliant. Looking outside through the great glass windows, into West-Concord at night felt like I was in Aspen or St Moritz skiing. Service was good but a little patchy, no salt or pepper on the table; had to ask twice where my glass of wine was, but otherwise good. Food good, not great, and menu is picky and not for the average eater. Overall, great night out! Well worth it but not cheap, for 4 people, incl. 5 glasses of wine $300+. Vegetarian options: Can't remember, but believe available Parking: Plenty of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accesible Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, nut free available
Nice environment. Food is very expensive and not that great. It's okay, but not "an event." I ordered mushroom risotto; it was very good when piping hot, but as it cooled down into a gelatinous overly cheesy mass.... Not so much. Also , it had alot if sweet peppers, but minimal mushrooms. Call it cheese and pepper risotto, and be done with it. Did not help that it was served in a dish almost identical to our dogs food and water bowls, but, what're you gonna do. Service was very professional and kind, but kitchen was sloooowwww.
I had a wonderful dinner here In October but last evening’s experience was disappointing for both the service and my dish. I had the Monkfish suquet. The sauce was entirely overpowered with citrus maybe lemon? tartness that I couldn’t taste any other flavors. The waitress never offered us any bread until we saw other tables having it so we asked for it after our entrees were served eventually. I love farm to table food but this was such a disappointment.
My absolute favorite restaurant! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing cocktails, food and service.  I appreciate the high quality ingredients used to create impressive dishes.Food: 5/5
