At this facility the supervisor nurses will keep you safe . While the nurses especially "V" gives the patients encouraging words which helps to recover mentally and physically quicker,. The nurses aid will help keep a smile on the patients face. This is the experience that I got and anyone else will get having a Nurse "V" who will advocate for the patients care and needs. The physical therapy department only wants the best for their patients
Never! Ever! Send a loved one to this facility for rehab. STAY AWAY. Without going into great detail. Not very clean, food l wouldn't feed to animal. Old equipment, understaffed and more.
Woodlake does a wonderful job keeping everyone safe, cared for, and accommodates family visits as best they can as long as there is no outbreak of covid. The staff on the floor my grandmother was onthe rehab unit we're just wonderful and they would get my grandmother whatever she wanted or needed and was also very accommodating to us as a family. I wouldn't want a family member to go anywhere else. She was very well taken care of physically and mentally as well. Thank you for filling my grandmother's last few weeks on this Earth with dignity and compassion.
My uncle was at Woodlake at Tolland for 16 months and the staff at this place treated him wonderfully! His daughter told us they were always very aware of his needs, catching his illnesses early anytime he was getting sick. She said they are top notch in cleanliness and safety, never having a single case of Covid! The nurses and aides always gave him the best care. We highly recommend this place!
Absolutely horrible. Relative fell out of bed three weeks ago, they did an "exam" and told me that she bruised. Long story short the hospital says that she has a FRACTURE!!!! We bring her back to woodlake and find no one in sight. We ring the door bell 4-6 times and no one comes to the door. Finally a woman from outside let us in to once again find NO ONE in sight. Took us about 15 minutes just help her into her room.... They don't call back, no communication with each other, they have no answers to your questions, and they have too many people to care for and not enough help!!!!!!!
I would recommend highy. Faciliy is clean, food is good, entire staff is caring and professional therapy is indivialized and one on one. They will get you strong and moving.
