I am aneecomer and was looking for help with social services, my Doctor refer me to Aneela Ahmad at HATM Crescent Town health center. I am very happy with the service I received, she is very knowledgeable & responsive to needs. I wonder if I can give her more the 5 star reviews as she is 100% helpful and highly recommended. Thank you so much Aneela!
im not sure how to relay thevreliefvtheir help gave me..its fair to ssy i cried when they told me i was getting money back after evading doing the process for years. fear of getting it wrong made me feel i couldnt deal with it and being without a fixed address and income made it worse.ther was no judgment or stigma just im sorry you went through that..lets get you secure in your future..i had one? yeah i actually did..and its thanks to them that i see it. i cant give them a ten star rating but i can say if superheroes wear capes their work attires about to change. snd i will be there to applaud the show. apply and be respectfull to the staff, cos ive got their backs now and thats alot of respect they deserve. dont abuse it.
Absolutely amazing! I have received meals on wheels after a hospital admission and Sarah was so kind and helpful in coordinating things for me. The volunteers are very special, and if I didn't happen to answer the door when they arrived they always called to inquire on my safety. I am sure that other services offered are just as wonderful and this is an asset to our community
Went to talk with one of the social workers there to try and get some help with some personal problems. The staff there are as helpful as they can be depending on the problems that you are dealing with .
Thank you so much for the program and workshops. At first, I could barely get up and thought it would be boring but it was far from boring. Another agency Career Dynamics was somewhat helping me out but because it was only phone calls not virtual meetings like workshops I learned nothing. However, here at Woodgreen in their CAP workshops I was able to correct an already existing and professional resume but was able to tweak it even more. I learned why cover letters are important and when I should use them. I learned more about workers Rights, and succeeded in passing First Aid/CPR certification. I started receiving emails and phone calls for interviews a week before our final week together, to the point I wanted to turn off my phone. If you put in the effort, work and time you too can be successful. I'm certain I will get a job now with my disabilities and I'm more motivated than any other point during my unemployed disabled years. I'm young so why should life stop because of my disability? I will keep reaching for the stars no matter the health concerns. Thanks to Malisha, Jessica, Darlene, Sarah and all Woodgreen staff for helping me get to where I want to be and to believe in myself. I want to add this it's week #6 and I got a job offer! Thank you Woodgreen Lakeshore! I won't forget what I learned
This environment is a safe space and they are very efficient with their time management and organization most especially on times where they offer FREE counselling on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. You don't even need an I.D. I was welcomed properly and I did not feel judged for my situation and/or illnesses. They are a great hearted bunch with nothing but your well being in mind. Thank you for making a great impact in my life. Because of this place I am better at managing my daily life. Please keep up the great service.
Excellent people and helping the homeless people
We've had the pleasure of working with Woodgreen for over 15 years. They are a community who cares, and take great pride in what they do!
I can only speak to this organization regarding the free tax services offered on Tuesdays and with regards to what I've heard about the organization from others, which has always been enthusiastic praise for them. The individuals who helped me with my taxes were compassionate, professional and very thorough, carefully explaining everything that we did together. It might take a month or two to get an appointment to see them, but it is well worth the wait. They provided me with envelopes and all of the printed tax forms free of charge. They are well deserving of the 5 stars I'm giving them!
Used the employment services. Despite showing up to all my appointments and going to all the recommended workshops. Still wasn't able to land anything for several months. Finally switched services and was able to find an opportunity after 3 and a half weeks. Can't speak for the other employment ad visors but the one I receive failed to respond to my emails and even failed to show up to some appointments that we scheduled together.
