Story

Jessie's Centre is a multi-service resource centre for pregnant teenagers, young parents and their children. We have developed a variety of programs and services to meet the special needs of young families throughout the City of Toronto.

We offer:

• Counselling
• Prenatal Classes
• High School
• Health Services
• Parenting Education
• Housing Assistance
• Respite Care

Mission

Our mission is to nurture the healthy development of pregnant teenagers, young parents and their children.

We are a pro-choice organization that supports a woman’s right to make choices about her sexual health and pregnancy options.

This organization is unbelievable omg I was apart of it, let me see my oldest is 36 years old know lol, they use to be located in the west end of Toronto at the time. They helped me as a teen mom not having anyone else to talk to about pregnancy and family life, it was great and I’m really happy to see it still around
This place is awesome.The participants and their families are holistically supported to thrive.
Truly helpful when it's really needed the most. Donations actually go to the moms, babies and kids. It's a very nurturing and family oriented environment. I truly highly recommend them.
My daughter finish her schooling there, she has matured into a good mother for her son and make me and husband proud parents.
- unorganized - bad staff - Lack of communication skills -bad area; worst place to look for support.
Thank you for helping me during pregnancy!
The June Callwood Centre is so pivotal in the work they do to support young mothers and pregnant women.
