Wooded Acres Family Campground

This is one of the best campgrounds I have ever been at. The bathrooms are really clean, the owners are very nice and they are very helpful. This place is a very good place to go if you have kids or just wan't a quiet campground. The pool is very nice it is fun to play in. The play ground is very nice for both young and older kids. The other people in the campground are very nice. I would love to come back. There price for wood is a good price. If you want to be in the woods but not in the woods at the same time this is the campground is good.

We are in our second season now at Wooded Acres and I just wanted to write a review about our experiences. Dave (owner) is a great guy and takes care of the property. Yes, some of the sites are very small but it is an old park. They didn't have slide-outs and 40ft fifth wheels when the park was first laid out. They are doing a great job of converting some smaller sites to larger sites to accommodate larger RVs. As for some of the reviews I've read, this is a family park. Most people obey the rules and have no problems whatsoever. I'm guessing that some of the comments on here are from those who violated the rules and were told to shape up or ship out. It's pretty simple. If you want to get drunk and be loud, this isn't the spot for you, you'd be better off finding somewhere else. Outside of that, I can't say enough good things. The bathrooms are clean, the laundry facilities are clean and cost effective, the kids love the pool and there is a handy area to store your boat trailer during the summer. All in all, I have no complaints. Dave is doing a great job bringing the park up to date and it hasn't gone unnoticed.

I love Wooded Acres. It's a family friendly park. It's close to the lake, trails and great golf courses. We've been here 3 reasons. Come and be a part of the community .

Campground was very neat and well maintained. Pool was very clean and warm. Bathrooms were amazing super clean along with the showers. Site was very adequate for 30 ft trailer and 2 trucks. Sites were nice and level and wooded. Will be back :)

Just stayed here for a second time since last year. Love the owners so friendly. Love the park as a matter of fact the peacefulness and calmness is what drew us back in from last year. This time unfortunately we were next to some seasonal that made the stay less than enjoyable. Site 61 had loud obnoxious children that would not stay off of our site and away from our camper and site 62 had the loudest most annoying dogs that barked nonstop and simuntaniously had the owners constantly yelling at them but had zero control over them. Just a heads up to avoid these sites if you want a peaceful stay. We will go back as I said overall we love the place but you would expect the seasonal people to be more respectful
