Woodcock's 401 Automotive

In May 2016 i was recommended to woodcocks automotive by my insurance company due to being in a recent accident. My right front fender and wheel well was backed into and was damaged due to the accident. My car was at the shop for about a week and at the end of the week i was called to come pick it up. I didnt even get 5 minutes down the road when i could hear a loud grinding noise. I went back to the shop and notified them of the noise and their response was that i needed new brakes. I told them my brakes were just replaced earlier that year so that is not what the noise was. If i didnt push the subject, they would of just sent me on my way. They ended up taking the car back in the shop and removing the wheel to find that they apparently put the steering knuckle on up side down!!?? and that it was rubbing on my wheel which was making the grinding noise. I was told to leave the car with them for the next couple of days and they would fix it. Upon picking up my vehicle for the second time everything sounded and looked fine. I took my car to a TRUSTED shop for a second opinion to only find out that woodcocks only did a half ass job. They put a used steering knuckle and used wheel bearing that had ABS on it and cut the ABS wires off due my car not having ABS brakes. The wheel bearing was so used that it needed replacing along with the steering knuckle. The bolts that also hold the strut in place were loose. As a result my tire now needs replacing due to being badly worn. They also failed to do an alignment on my vehicle which helped to ware my tire bald. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I have notified my insurance company to not recommend this shop to anymore for accident repairs. I also felt that because I am a woman they could tell me whatever and I would believe it or i would not noticed that crappy work they did. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Problem with our jeep on our way to Toronto. Had to do an emergency stop from the 401. They took our jeep in immediately and didn't charge us for the work because it was an easy/small job to them. We were out of there and back on the road within 30 minutes. Great, honest and trustworthy mechanics!
