Tried this for the 1st time a few weeks ago, food was delicious, but had a few issues with the server and communication. Decided to try it again this past week, again..food was DELICIOUS! We went for dinner. They have a huge menu of sushi rolls. We did the All You Can Eat Sushi for $26.99. Many choices! You can choose an “entree option” as well, some are included, some are an up charge. The snow crab legs were an up charge of $8.99, totally worth it, but the butter was not butter, but a butter flavored oil, which I am not a fan of. The garlic lobster was an $8.99 up charge, totally worth it, absolutely delicious, but messy! The seafood bowl was included and full of crawfish, shrimp, mussels in a spicy sauce! So good! All of the rolls were phenomenal! Served was pleasant, but still had a little communication barrier, extra napkins were hard to come by and were really needed, refills on beverages also not easily ordered, but the food was fantastic!! We will be back, they are still new, so I am confident they will work out the server kinks over time!!
Very good sushi buffet at a reasonable price. To be clear, this is not the best sushi in the area, but it is very good. This is much more about the quantity of the offerings than the highest quality. The appetizers are delicious and maybe best execution on the menu. The rolls are delicious, but not necessarily the type to make the fish stand out.
All you can eat for $27 is such a great option to try the many foods here. Started with seafood salad, it was tender and well made. The gyoza was some of the best I've had in a while! We shared four signature rolls, and it was almost too much food. But keep in mind they will charge you extra for uneaten rolls. Fire phoenix roll and Sapporo roll was delicious!
Sushi is great and the service was wonderful and above expectations! Kid-friendly if your kids enjoy sushi and seafood! Our server was amazing and incredibly friendly. It was a slower Sunday afternoon and the food came out quickly and was very fresh. The menu has a great variety of options along with a fun cocktail menu. It’s a perfect place for a group and the all you can eat option allows you the ability to try a variety of menu items. Highly recommend!
Just came back from Winota and we had a fantastic meal. Our main server was wonderful with a kind and bubbly attitude. The few other servers who helped her, and the host, were all very pleasant as well. She always checked in on us with water and to see if we wanted to order more. We did the all you can eat option. It was a fantastic selection of appetizers, sushi and kitchen entrees with dessert, too! The quality was exceptional for the price, which was less than $30. I've been to a few all you can eat places and never left with such satisfaction from food quantity, quality AND service. Wonita is fantastic find. I hope they maintain this level of service as I plan to be back many more times with friends and family.
I live nearby and this is one of my regular go-to restaurants. I really enjoy the food. The fish is usually pretty fresh, and the rolls are quite tasty. They review the order with you to ensure accuracy. I also enjoy several of the appetizers. There have been times that the crab rangoon and the tempura calamari have not been crispy, so I usually specify that I'd like both of them well done. The reason why this gets four stars instead of five is on the service side. I'm a single guy and usually eat alone. Sometimes I have to fight larger tables to get help from the waitress. Also, this place drives me nuts with only giving one napkin. I get an attitude when I ask for more napkins. I literally waited 10 minutes for a napkin on my last visit, and after waiting, the waitress comes by with one napkin. My only other comment is with the hand rolls. They are tasty, but they need to come out more quickly. Too often, the rice and the paper are together for too long before they are served. As a result, the paper is no longer crispy.
The sushi was amazing and delicious! Probably one of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to! Our server was fun and made the experience enjoyable. Highly suggest their all you can eat sushi!
This is the first time I ate & felt extremely satisfied with every bite. The service was exceptional & everything is well explained if you’re a first timer. The food really represented the place & the atmosphere was quite nice. Will forever be going back multiple times & recommend. Must go if you’re a sushi lover!
This was such an AMAZING new spot for sushi and seafood. My mom and I went for the first time and ordered the all-you-can-eat seafood and sushi. Had the absolute best oysters, gyoza, mussels, and sushi for only $27.99. The service was incredible and the manager was extremely knowledgeable about the food itself. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was and will definitely be going back!!
