I love this place! The sushi lunch special is my usual. It comes with 3 full rolls, soup, and salad. They have good hibachi as well. You really can't go wrong with the lunch specials. Dining area is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Stay away from the door side since it can be cold in the winter with people coming and going. Prices are very reasonable, the value is amazing.
My wife and I went in on a whim. Never really been a huge fan of sushi but my only other experience was like a “convenience store” kind. The ambiance was really nice. Service was well above average. And the food…… was beautiful! Tasted and looked amazing. Will definitely be going back and I HIGHLY recommend!
Probably the best sushi in the area. Well made delicious combinations with specialty rolls that are well thought out. We were lucky enough to come after they reinstated their special reduced prices on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I was able to order a MASSIVE plate of my sushi choices for less than $30. When asked if they had tamari soy I could use with my meal, they brought a little dish of it from the kitchen for me. This is greatly appreciated, particularly since the tamari soy would be a nice brewed sauce of higher quality than most off the shelf manufactured styles. It all looked so good, I couldn't resist taking a bite of my mango/shrimp hand roll before taking this picture. That paired with a lovely cup of Japanese style green tea was the perfect cap on a dreary cold day. 10/10 highly recommended Vegetarian options: There are several vegetation sushi options available, though I have made off menu requests in the past which they were happy to cater to. Ordered a simple mango sushi roll Parking: Typical strip mall parking lot. On a busy night you might walk a little, but you'll find a spot Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp is placed a few feet away from the main entry. Inside might be a little tight rolling a chair through, but there are tables and sitting areas immediately adjacent to the door Dietary restrictions: As stated in my review, they were more than happy to make substitutions and modifications to my menu, and were quick to check on any questions I had for materials used in dishes
Half price Sushi and Hibachi on Monday and Tuesday every week, wait staff are nice and attentive! Good place to hand out with friend and family!
We’re from NE Wisconsin but when we do get to the Milwaukee area, as we recently did for a Bucks game, we make a point to stop at Fujiyama in Brookfield. Their sushi is absolutely delicious!! Pictured rolls: Mt. Fuji left, Kamikaze right, Fujiyama back rowRecommended dishesSushi
I love sushi as much as the next person, but this place is amazing and the staff is wonderful. The big Mac roll is phenomenal and the sexy lady is on point. I also need to add that my boyfriend is literally obsessed with this restaurant. Any time he is in town he wants some clear soup and a sushi roll. We always have the same server and he is quick and efficient. Oh and the hibachi is awesome too!
Ok, so my wife wanted to go to Fujiyama for her birthday and we have been to the one on Hwy 100 several times and have always enjoyed it. I decided we would try this one thinking it was the same, but right when we walked in we could see they didn't have the Hibachi grills. Oh well, not that big of a deal, we weren't going to drive to the other one at this point. We were seated pretty quickly, which was nice, and the server gave us two napkins and two pairs of chopsticks for our family of four. We placed our order and got three forks for our salads. A while later we got our dinners and saw that my wife and kid's meals were wrong. The server realized this and asked if we would like to switch for the correct orders and my wife replied "yes". I started to eat my dinner because I figured it would be cold if I waited too long. A while later, the server came back, and seeing the plates of food asked again if we'd like to switch. My wife again replied "yes". By the time their food arrived, I was finished and it was my turn to somewhat awkwardly watch my family eat. The good part is that the food was good, but I feel like I owe my family a trip to Hwy 100.
Our server was pleasant and friendly. Reasonable pandemic precautions were evident during our visit. The meals that we chose were fresh, delicious and visually attractive, served promptly and priced in line with peers in the area.
I was just here tonight and will never be going back. Went out with my husband and his friend. Got the all you can eat sushi. I got cooked rolls as I don't eat raw fish. Within 2min after eating a bite of my first roll I felt sick to my stomach. 30min we are on our way home and have to stop for me to be in the bathroom. We got home 1.5hrs after we left eating and I was throwing up my whole meal.
This was the first place I ever tried sushi, back in 2008, and it's still the place I prefer when in the Brookfield area. We generally stick to the rolls, especially the fancy rolls! But we never forget the Kani Salad for a starter Food: 5/5
