We went in for the first time today, just out of curiosity, and we were pleasantly surprised by how incredible it is in there. It was popping busy with a themed night which they have regularly. Lots of amazing product- a couple new releases that we bought as a gift for a relative. Vince, the owner was so friendly and gave us a very welcoming intro to GP and his store. It was great to see such a safe, unique space in GP. Loved it and we will surely return . They serve food, too!
It's just a great hobby shop. The top floor is full of stock like comics, board games, tabletop, and more, as well as everything to start playing all of these games. Also has a kitchen with good food that operates mostly evenings for events that take place daily, seating for the events and food up top and even more space below in the basement for tons of action.
Stopped in at Wonderland yesterday for a couple last minute Christmas things. Wonderful place. I know zero about D&D other than my son absolutely loves it and the club at school. Vincent is super knowledgeable and helpful on all things D&D Christmas morning, it will look like I have my ducks in a row-ish Thank you for all your help and sharing your passion for coll things.
I honestly have to say it's one of the best stores downtown and the overall atmosphere is amazing making myself and hopefully others feel safe, the staff very helpful and very kind, welcoming you in the store. It's one of best places to find games, and cards to play with others, along with comics and other collectables. It's also great to come to go do some gatherings here to find what your into, like Warhammer or Yugioh just to name a few.
Heard great things about this place. Took the kids in to check it out. Great atmosphere, very inviting and friendly + they have a monkeytail skink!
They NEVER open on schedule. Lately they been leaving a sign they would be back be back at 1. 15 minutes have passed and people were waiting outside the door when I left. I think it’s a big middle finger to the customers and if this is how they run the store I wouldn’t be surprised if it were a money laundering spot. No way they make enough with how they’re running things. Want a good comic shop? Go to Strange Ideas
The food here is fantastic portions are great. They have a cool shop for collectibles and table top gaming with as good a selections as any where else in Grande Prairie. They have a community gathering for table top gaming and card games below which is also neat. Its a truly unique space ran by nice folk.
We are pretty limited for comic and geekery stores in GP. While I miss the toy store, Vince definitely gives the nerd community a friendly space to commune.
Staff is super friendly, over all a great atmosphere.
Friendly staff, great inventory. And an amazing place for geeks and nerds alike!
