It was my first visit last week and I've had no expectations , but left with two books and a pot lid. That's a good haul in my book. My initial plan was to check if there is any available secondhand furniture. I took the right turn to the home section, skimping through pricier decors and vases, and disappointed at the absence of any mirrors, frames and small tables. On my way out, I discover their collection of books. What a delight! Like a mini library, there is something for everyone. Passing long lines of clothing racks, I found what seems to be other bulky Home related stuffs nested under each other, on the other side of the store. Their layout is indeed very confusing Nonetheless, there are curious offerings and surprising deals.
The cashier will force you to use self checkout. Im almost walked out. The next patron 2 mins later was directed to self check-out with his items and actually did walk out. So the customer service was a huge miss but the store was clean and security was welcoming and polite also prices were great
This place isnt like it used to be. Value village is a corporate business and feels more like a store than a thrift. Prices are way overpriced for a thrift store. I would recommend the other two in town first.
Toy had a price tag from a previous store for 2.99 and the Value Village store had their sticker on for 7.99. Showed it to a staff member and that person didn't care. Value Village is quite the rip off! I will donate to another place going forward.
Waste of my time and money. Went and bought a suit because they no longer have change rooms, got home to try it on and it does not fit, go back to get my money back but they only do exchanges. I am blown away on how bad my experience was and will never return. As I just threw away $30 and have nothing to show for it
Store is clean organized and well stocked. Friendly staff who where helpful. It is more expensive than most second hand stores but there is still good deals to be found
I wasn’t impressed by this location. A few things are fairly over priced, some even have holes and irreparable damages. The older cashiers aren’t friendly at all, and treat you like an inconvenience if you go to their cash register. I won’t be going back, ever. Mission thrift is 100000% better, and they truly appreciate your business .

What happened to thrift? A lot of items way more expensive then Ebay. Shame on Value Village. I have pledged to boycott until this madness stops. I feel for the senior that goes here and as it's a thrift expects to get a deal. I see many many things more expensive than retail, shame on you VV.
You can find just about anything here from close to dishes, toys and older electronics. There are lots of affordable books and dvds here. The four stars are mostly because I know they donate a lot to charity. But over the years the prices on some of the close are getting closer and closer to what you pay for new.
