I normally give good reviews and a lot of grace to restaurants and their employees. I've even enjoyed drinks here before, but today was a total flop. I placed an order for pickup. And when I got my macaroni and cheese, it truly looked like a side order, not a meal. There was meat on top, but truly such a small portion $17…see the photo. I asked the employee if that was really the correct size. She was very kind and asked the kitchen, but apparently it was correct. I was shocked, but I guess I figured I would just deal with it. Then I asked if there was silverware in the bag, and told me they don't have any because they don't get a lot of to-go orders. Therefore I had to go to the market next door to buy plastic silverware to eat. Honestly disappointed in my experience here and like I said I would have been very forgiving if someone had truly cared about my experience. But I prepaid, so it felt to me like they did not care anymore.
Really enjoyed our night here! We came in for trivia Wednesday and got some drinks and the jackfruit tacos spicy, but I liked the carrots on top, spinach and artichoke dip good stuff, and the berry cheesecake mousse loved this. The food was good small portions, but the drinks were so so so good! Even the one mocktail photo with the bamboo heart skewer I had was delicious.
Cocktails were delicious, however the waitress ruined our experience. We had a group 6 sitting outside enjoying drinks. We were going to order dinner, but after our waitress was continuously rude to us, we decided to find somewhere else to go. Throughout my last year of restaurants, I have been extremely patient as a patron and can sympathize with the wait staff because I know they have been short staffed. However, her attitude and demeanor was inexcusable. Alexia D, there are plenty of jobs out there, go get a new job if you are unhappy.
Such great food and the waiter was spectacular. Friendly, attentive. Every drink we ordered was delicious. Plus, the bathrooms were clean! Five stars, recommend :
Oh my gosh!!! The food menu was a start up menu I'm thinking. But the taco tray Wednesday special abs the sharable, were delicious. The L S D, and their very own, gin and tonic?? Refreshing and tasty. So good, all of it. Devon, you're amazing at what you do. Thanks. Trying to edit food pics, no luck. The sharable was..3 cured meats, aged Asiago, blueberry compote house made, shaved parmesan, and balsamic glaze. The taco tray was only 9.00 for a Wednesday special. Marinated Korean short ribs, Buster's Favorite..Al pastor pork. Cilantro, white onion, chopped pineapple, queso fresco and quac. The last of the 3 was not listed on the menu, but trust me, amazing!!!
I am always impressed by the drinks at Wonderland. Truly some of the best cocktails in the area. The food is usually fairly high quality, though the pricesparticularly the tacoshave become outrageous. I have to say, as someone who has run restaurants in the past, your inconsistent hours are hurting your business. We are Rocks Club members and have tried to make this our place, but we have been turned away numerous times when you are closing earlier than posted or for events that are not open to the public. In the Lakeside district that is fighting for relevancy, businesses should be open when they say they will be open.
The drink Rooftop garden is so good. Made with vodka. They have orange blossom and rose spray they lightly spray and Palo Santo that they light to reset the senses. It's such a vibe and I really enjoyed my time here. Spinach dip was also very enjoyable. Dogs are allowed on the patio
Always a fantastic experience at Wonderland! The staff takes patron's safety seriously and I appreciate that. Dig the vibe and the drinks and good god you should have the Bao Buns and Duck Dumplings!
Very nice environment. The food was good, and the drinks were a nice change from our usual. Would've liked a bigger variety, but overall impressed.
Drinks were phenomenal, atmosphere is nice too.
