Rapid City's First British Pub, Wobbly Bobby proudly offers 48 rotating taps with an excellent selection of beer, liquor and cider.

Story

Wobbly Bobby is located in the heart of downtown Rapid City in the alley behind Main Street Square. Inside you will find ornate, old-world style decor and 48 beers on tap. We also feature a wide variety of locally crafted wine and premium liquors.
A bit of Wobbly Bobby history - Sir Robert Peel, commonly referred to as the father of modern policing, helped establish the first organized police service in London. These new police officers quickly earned the nicknames ‘Peelers’ or ‘Bobbies.’

It took some time to establish the standards of discipline which are expected today from a police force (in 1863 alone, 215 officers were arrested for being intoxicated while on duty).

It is to those early Bobbies of the London police force, be they noble, or not so noble (perhaps even a bit wobbly on occasion), whom we raise a glass in salute of their efforts.

Great beer selection. Cozy bar with lots of dark wood. Fish and chips were excellent. Sad they were slow on a night when downtown was packed. Our server from Alabama was excellent. Hit this place, it’s a hidden gem.
Truly one of RC’s best hidden gems. Great and very large selection of beer. The staff is always friendly and makes sure there is a great vibe at the bar. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

First time in SD from SoCal and lovin it ! Everyone is kind and humble. Walked into the Wobbly Bobby Pub after ice skating and the vibe and ambient was perfect ! Highly recommend it to anyone and can't wait to come back again !
Very nice bar with great staff , but definitely not a British pub . Really enjoyed the couple pints I had with my wife and daughters. As another reviewer said I have never seen bar staff in kilts back home in England. If we were to go back to Rapid city we would definitely call back in for a pint.
Great experience! Fun vibes, great beer and amazing service! Sid was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and outgoing. She truly made my experience unforgettable in Rapid City, as it was my first time there. I can't wait to go back!
Great Service, and really good food. The bartender had just started a few days prior, was also waiting tables. He was excellent all around. It is definitely not a "pub", but the atmosphere, drinks, and food were great. There are TVs at every booth, with a remote, so you can choose your channel. Pretty decent for game day. The closest thing to pub food was fish n chips...we got the chicken bacon sandwich and the crane asada tacos. The good was fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the twisted potato wedges. There is complimentary popcorn, self serve, enter at your own risk in these times and plenty of bar seating. The sign says "21 & Over" as you enter, but I guess this is for after hours? There were families there eating. I definitely recommend.
Loved Wobbly Bobby. Great selection of brews on hand and the beautiful bartender knew about each and every one. I really enjoyed the sour one even though she warned me about it being sour. Will go back if the time ever presents itself.
