Nice place. The portions are generous and they have some good brew as well. I went on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Therefore I only had a beer because we were told there was a 40 minute wait time for a cheese burger. The food must surely be great if so many people turned up on a Tuesday.

This is my local pub so I might be a bit biased, but it's really quite good. The fish and chips are most excellent, and everything else on the menu will certainly please most everyone. The service is friendly, fast and courteous. It can get a wee touch longer on the weekends due to them being completely booked, but it just gives you a few more minutes to enjoy one of their outstanding beverages. A must when in Hemmingford. Slainte!

We waited over an hour after ordering for our food to arrive, but it never did. Whole tables arrived after us, ordered, ate, and left and we still didn't have our food. The waiter only came by once during that whole time, and it was not to apologize, but to tell us that payment was by cash only. Either we were forgotten, or they provided us with poor service because we were anglophone.

Friendly bilingual staff. Fair food for a fair price. I would come back again.
