Amato's Sandwich Shops

today I pulled into a self service gas station put fuel in my truck and then I come in side and thought maybe I'd like a sandwich I walk up to the counter and the first thing that I'm presented with is a touchscreen computer screen that I've got a punch in the description of some sandwich and food that I've never seen before and I guess my only job is is to pay for it somewhere behind the counter there is people making the food that I punch in on the computer screen the next thing the computer screen direct me to do is to pay at the self service gas station cashiers deck and then a few minutes later the food is sitting on the counter for me to pick up I would think that this would be really really cheap but in fact it's actually kind of expensive. I would think that this should be more like a restaurant. I guess we just are not going to have anybody working in restaurants in the future. Welcome to us making America great for corporate store owners!

Great place for ready made roadside Italian and American food. Prices are fair for the portions and the staff are always willing to take the extra time to make you happy.

Amy is the best. The food is awesome with a wide variety. Any dinner is enough for two or seconds later. The salads are always fresh and some unique types. My wife's favorite gas station in NY.

No longer amatos. Not as good as amatos.
