Such a great campground! We attended a crafting event and bingo night, both hosted by Brandi, and they were so fun. My daughter really enjoyed playing with the kids there, and we liked chatting with the other families. Yes the train passes right by, but it was fine and worth it for the liveliness and activities available. We would definitely stay there again.
Definitely one of the best first camping trips ever! The staff were always so kind and always willing to help us have fun! Stalls and camping grounds were clean. Even lost a small item, shot an e-mail, and was able to get it back within a few days. Great location and hoping for more camping trips to come!
Super surprised at how nice this place is. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We tent camped and got in late they had a map with our site waiting for us. The tent pad is super flat too. The bathrooms are clean which is always a win in my book.
We were very pleased with our stay at this KOA. The employees were friendly and welcoming, and our cabin was clean and tidy. The sites were well-maintained, and restrooms were immaculate. I appreciated the free coupon book that came with check-in. This is in a resort area, so don't expect total peace and quiet, but that's ok because everything is fun and family -friendly.
Beautiful location next to the downtown dells. Very friendly staff. We stayed Thursday-Monday and enjoyed the playground. I have four stars due to the trash and litter all over the playground that I had to pick up myself every day so my kids were not playing with trash. The sites are very close to each other and the freight train tracks. Tents be warned, the ground rumbles with the trains. Overall, we would stay somewhere else next time.
We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and well kept inside and out. The staff is very friendly and guided everyone to their campsite and was always helpful on answering any questions needed. The KOA was in a good location of the Dells and all its attractions, yet private in its own location.Rooms: 5/5
Torn between giving 3 or 4 stars. It was their final days of the season. They seemed very excited to shut down. We had reservations until Oct 14th but later they called us and informed us we could only stay through the 12th. So it was basically 2 nights.. One full day. Didn't see any staff members or get to interact with them much. But the time we did they seemed nice. Train very close. Our camper started...rocking .. vibrating... Whatever you would like to call it.. like 5 minutes before we could really hear it and you could watch it pass. Then still felt it 5 minutes after it was gone. Didn't really get to use amenities. Was Big Rig friendly our pad was level. They were certainly all about shutting down and told us we had to be out by 11 or noon... Can't recall the exact time... No extension. We always leave before the check out time anyway so no biggie. But certainly their need to get rid of you doesn't make you feel welcomed. So I am on the fence about this KOA. If we hadn't come at the end of the season might have a better view of this place.
It is a decent campground. Clean and friendly staff. The only downside is that you barely have enough room to open your awning without hitting the next camper. Had to as the camper next to us to move their rug so we could hook up to power and water. Just not for us
Stayed for 5 nights. Campgrounds very clean and well maintained. Sites very narrow. Campground roads are not one way, however are one lane. Had to back up several times into other camper's sites to let opposing traffic thru. No parking allowed at camp store, pool, laundry, or bathrooms. We were told to only park at our campsite and then walk. Trains run day and night very close to campground. Ground literally shakes when the freight train goes by. However, we never heard a train whistle. Campground very good at notifing you via text of approaching storms, pool closure, and planned activities for the day.
Super clean facilities nice private shower rooms and friendly staff. Text messages with all updates and activities in the park same with ordering firewood. They escort you to your site, help you back in and pick up your garbage throughout the day.Service: 5/5
