After discovering some lack luster coffee at a nearby hotel we were very pleased to find the Wired Monk along our path. Americano was fresh and perfectly pulled balanced shot. Thick creme. Beautiful aftertaste. The double espresso was good but a tad bitter to our liking. Still very good. Personal taste. The latte was just a tad milky and not a bold enough coffee flavor for my liking. All and all great coffee. Recommend. Friendly service. Nice decor. Please like my review if it was helpful.
Had a nice scone. Cappuccino was good. When the cappuccino arrived late to my table, the server apologized and gave me a free drink for my next visit. It wasn't required but a nice gesture.
This is my absolute favourite coffee shop ! Fresh homemade food. Well crafted delicious drinks. Family run. Owners are such genuine people and really care about their customers and how their staff are treated. They remember customers names and remember their stories and just make everyone feel so loved. I love going in there to read, study or even grab their delicious sandwiches to go. Been going there for a few years now and I'm sad it's taken me so long to finally write a review. I would definitely recommend! :
The coffee was really good but the sandwich was underwhelming. I was especially disappointed to see the half of my sandwich with the egg on it go into the microwave. The bread was pretty good though. I did get a blueberry-lemon scone to go and that was yummy. It wasn't too sweet, which I like, and was quite dense. It reminded me more of a drop biscuit than a scone, but we enjoyed eating it.
Wow! I went in there yesterday for lunch and I have to say it was a great experience over all. The food was amazing, I had a pesto chicken wrap, it was delicious. They heated it up on a grill. It came with salsa and chips : I had a mocha chocolate cookie, it was so mouth watering! I would definitely recommend going here. Next time I’ll try the coffee ; 5 stars!! The staff was so friendly and kind. They really made u feel at home :
Wow, I posted last week about my breakfast sandwich I had ordered which was burnt and I see it has been taken down. You need to learn how to keep your customers happy and coming back. I don’t usually complain but when my food is burnt, it’s time to speak up. Staff said sorry about that and thanks for letting them know. I won’t be going back. I’d rather go to Starbucks! At least they’re upbeat and friendly and willing to please.
This is an asset to the walnut grove community. The selection of sandwiches is excellent and there are firm favorites such and bacon and eggs, or cheese and eggs. The choice of ciabatta bread is nice. The coffee is good and the wired size is great. The outside tables are great for people watching as it's right on the corner. A choice of free papers are available to help while away a peaceful coffee and bun. Like if you found this useful.
Well-known local coffee shop with an upscale twist. Great new location and tasty menu. They were kind enough to customize a menu item for me and make it vegetarian. Comfy chairs next to the fire and quiet enough to work. Parking is a wee but tight, but adequate. Good location to meet and chat.
Came in here recently after the new change of ownership, and I was really impressed! The staff was friendly, the coffee was super fresh - and bonus it's fair trade and organic! I enjoyed a Monk Turkey Club and a bowl of their wicked thai soup and both were delicious. Will definitely be returning again soon.
Your typical coffee shop, service was great. They also serve wraps, scones, bars, and cinnamon buns. I had a wrap it was very good, also had a cheese & ham scone was also very good. W I would definitely go back! Only issue is parking.
