The Runway Cafe

Looks better than it tasted. The roast lamb was very tender but bland & the dressing on the Greek salad was watery. The waitress was dismissive & was already walking away from the table as soon as she put down a plate or glass. Didn't bother to ask about beverages or condiments as the main courses were served. Was apparently "running around like a headless chicken" but had time to let other tables in our area know about it. When we asked for refills on drinks, we were dismissed more than once. She had only 5 tables in her section, plus help from a trainee runner. It was not a busy night, and yes, I have worked as a server. This was a disappointing experience.

This was our first time at Adrian’s at The Airport. We just finished a lovely meal with wonderful and friendly service. I had the roast lamb and it was as seasoned perfectly and was delicious. My companions enjoyed the Spanakopita Meal and the Mushroom Schnitzel. The Greek rice, salad and potatoes were a great match. The Schnitzel came with delicious cooked cabbage. The meal was really good. The place was really great. Truly we enjoyed the food, we will be back! The plates are mostly empty except the Spanakopita that we wanted to take with us for tomorrow. Thank you for the great meal.

Addition: 2023 Still the same, the best Greek Restaurant in Langley, wait staff kind and attentive. Food is hot but not fast desserts are delicious. Very busy 7 days a week, after 5pm a reservation is a must. Nice view of the planes and runway. Windows on 3 sides let in lots of natural light. Restaurant is good for first dates or casual dinners. Still 5 Stars! Old Review: 2022 Warm and cozy, lovely lady playing the piano, food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Waitresses are kind and attentive, short wait for food and drinks. Roughly $20 and up per plate. Alcohol Drinks are a good price. Best Greek Restaurant in Langley! After 5pm Friday to Sunday call to reserve a table. Lots of parking with lights and covid protocols in place. I highly recommend this location. 5 Stars Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, no play area. More for middle aged to elderly clientele. Quiet atmosphere. Parking: Lots of available parking Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, and make reservations to state wheelchair accessibility. As they also have direct access from side parking, so they can open double doors. Those doors are open on nice days but if not just mention it.

Food and service was exceptional. My friend and I ordered chicken souvlaki and I really enjoyed the flavors. Their tzatziki sauce is special. Never had that great flavor before, although I've been in Greece . The "touch" of extra garlic made it so special. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone..

I have been to Adrian's At The Airport quite a few times in the past. It was a place that my Mom used to love and she would always suggest it for family dinners. I was shocked that the restaurant had been replaced with a new and modern building...but I loved it! My husband and I will definitely be going back, soon!

My wife is a Chef and it is so hard to find good restaurants. This was our first time there so we were pleasantly surprised. The Calamari was amazing and I am very fussy about mine. The only thing I didn't like was my salad wasn't on a side plate and was warm on one side because it was leaning on hot food. Still a good meal.

Had a family dinner with a party of 18 adults and kids . They were very accommodating and table service by Keana was great! Everyone enjoyed their meals and had a great time. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely return another day. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy wheelchair access .

Don't bother going to this place if you have any food allergies, sensitivities or dietary restrictions. The waitress didn't seem to care about my concerns and shrugged me off when I asked about the food. The dinner I did get was terrible. A stir fry with mushy overcooked vegetables drowned in so much teriyaki sauce it was soup with mushy veggies. One of the worst meals. I ended up sending it back mostly uneaten. I came with a large group, and most of the others enjoyed their meal. But I would never go back to Adrian's.

Restaurant is clean, excellent service, and the food was very tasty for everyone in our party. It is conveniently located in the main terminal building and therefore a convenient location for anyone flying in to meet for lunch or what have you. We will definitely return there again.
