The Wintergarden Tavern is the "Neighborhood Bar" and we are celebrating our 80th year of proving our guests of all ages with great memories.

Story

Established in 1933, we are the oldest continually operating bar in the City of Livonia.

We are a family friendly tavern with something for everybody. We have a great neighborhood bar atmosphere with a menu ranging from standard bar-fare to great steak, fish and pasta dishes. We also have a large "Beer Hall" with it's own separate bar. The Beer Hall also provides multiple games and HD TV's for great times, perfect for hosting parties and fund raisers for any occasion with no room fee.

Happy Hour: Open to 6 pm 7 days a week with Daily Food & Drink Specials.

Games: Keno, Michigan Lottery, Golden Tee, Buck Hunter, Pool Tables, Long Shuffleboard, Hoops, Darts, Air Hockey, HD TV's, Internet Juke Box.

I've eaten at the Wintergarden at least a dozen times since moving into the area a year and a half ago, and every single thing I've tried has been delicious, including the mac 'n' cheese balls with Sriracha pictured. I love their German options -- saurkraut, sausages, pierogi, etc. Their fish 'n' chips is awesome. Their artisan flat bread pizza is amazing. Their beer selection is great. The environment is cozy and never too crowded. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great service. I've grabbed a bite and a beer and chilled with my laptop in a booth getting some work done. I've read tarot for a friend while we have a few drinks. The atmosphere is casual, and the vibe familiar. I like a place where there are "regulars", and you recognize faces when you're there. The Wintergarden is consistent and reliable, with great portions of delicious comforting foods. How can you go wrong?
Tonight my wife and I celebrated the eighth anniversary of our first date here at Wintergarden! This bar has two sides, one your standard bar, the other has billiards and Table shuffleboard! Seating is plentiful and the service is excellent, even with today's staffing challenges. The kitchen was putting out tasty appetizers and the bartender was filling glasses of beer with the perfect amount of foam! Visit often and don't forget to tip your servers generously!
The food was all pretty mediocre, but they charged more than a lot of places that are really good, so I don't think it was worth the price. The waitress was really nice and the food came quickly, but then the fries were massively undercooked, the 3 sausages were all very bland and the perogies were literally the ones you can get in the frozen section at pretty much any grocery store, but cooked in such a way they weren't crispy or anything and no extra seasoning was added that we could detect so I really just wish I'd stayed home and had frozen pierogis for dinner instead of going out.
Chicken wings were superb, good number of beers on tap as well. Waitress was polite and patient. Good place to meet friends for a drink or bring the family out for a good bite.
Good food and draft beer selection. Have had their fish dinner in past also polish sausages and perogies. Had Winterschnitzle dinner tonight with craft beer. Their craft beer selection does change every 2 weeks or so. Dinner tonight and beer from brewery in Farmington MI was delicious. Prices on some items seem a little steep yet all prices have gone up. Overall good food. They have booths, and bar on one side and pool tables, more tables for eating and dart board on other side of tavern. Quite separate so you can choose your atmosphere.
Good beer selection. Pool tables. Ok food. A bit loud and the Waitresses can be a little quirky, but it's a local bar.
They have a nice ambience with good food and a good game room. Perfect for hanging out with people and organizing get togethers.
Great neighborhood bar. Sat at the bar and had great conversation with other patrons and staff. The drinks were excellent and the bbq pizza was delicious. We will be returning.
A nice spot to play pool and grab a bite with some friends. Ample parking available on the back. Has a nice interior despite the rest of the area looking less than optimal. Snooker and pool are available. The pool tables themselves are great and even have pockets. However, tables are $10 per hour in the evening. That is an OK price, but when we went to pay we were charged almost $20 because we played "almost 2 hours". However, the time we spent eating their food was likely added to that "play time". Essentially we got charged for 2 hours but really only played for a little over 1. They also hold on to your ID while you play, kinda shady. Food is OK, if a tad expensive. Perch and chips are good, but I've been to other places that do it better. Best parts about this place are the indoor vibe and the staff, both are really nice. Overall the experience was fine, not amazing not horrendous. Probably worth a single trip and you can determine from there if you want to return.
Well this was a fun place, nice atmosphere, really friendly staff and people there, several pool tables in the back, good eats and cold brews. Music was a little loud which made for a shouted concersation, but some great tunes were being played.
