WINNIE DAM CAMPGROUND

Our family had a BLAST! The kids loved being able to walk around the while campground, and of course the playground area. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Playground: Very clean, and can definitely tell that it's well taken care of. Perfect for ages 2 and up. Restrooms: Basic campground restrooms, with showers. We really liked that they were cleaned once a day.

Another win with this ACOE campground, although make sure you go to Winni Dam campground and not Winni campground. We went to Winni campground and there was no electric hookups, it was near dark when we figured we were at the wrong campground... long drive around the lake.

This is a great campground! Site are big and spaced far apart! Bathrooms are very clean and newer, you have to get door code from campground host so only campers can use them! I can not find a down side here!

Such a beautiful place to go fishing. I caught a few bass and had a couple Northern snap my line. Such a beautiful sunset

Nice clean campground clean rest rooms . Just to open for me. Plenty of shade but the trees all have a park cut with zero brush . So if you like a open camp ground to watch what others do you will give it a 5

Winni Dam ACOE campground is the best. Our site #11 was incredible huge. You could fit two of our 30’ class a on this site. Another great job done by the ACOE. Highly recommend this location!

We have not been out much because of the rain and cold but the camp ground is so nice and big, large sites, nice trails. We cannot wait to see more!

Nice clean no complaints here. Little bit of space between sites gives a sense of privacy. Host is very nice. Just be careful in the showers they get really HOT. You cant adjust them

Small campground, but fine for 45+ rigs. Very nice playground down by the dam, with large open grassy area and covered gazebo.

As with all Corp campgrounds, this one is very good. Limited bank fishing, but many use this as a base for fishing Winnie. Large campsites but few trees so everyone is in one big field. New shower rooms, otherwise pit toilets, which are clean. Saw no rangers or hosts during our stay. Only 22 sites so it’s small. Close to Deer River and Grand Rapid.
