Winners

This was my first time at this Winner's location and I ran in to grab boots, I always go to the Winner's at Pace Verailles as it's alot closer to me. But I am over shopping at the Winner's location so I came here instead and it's much better. Staff is very helpful and extremely polite and talkative while you're cashing out. This was my best experience ever shopping at a aby store in Montréal and it was Christmas eve , everyone was in a rush but the staff the we're 100% fabulous

This is the best winners/HomeSense for home decor. Have bought great decor pillows, 600 thread count sheets, kitchenware and mirrors here. Turnover is goodwent to return something 1 week later as the mall is busy. It’s my go to for home furnishings.

I had unpleasant experience at Winners on Decarie in Montreal. I was walking down the aisle on the right side with my child in an ergonomic carrier and a shopping cart, trying not to get in anyone’s way. Anyone who’s done this knows how heavy and difficult it is. If someone was browsing, I would of course go around them.nnA store employee was walking toward me with empty hands. When we met, she pointed her finger at me, telling me to go around her. I have never experienced such rudeness anywhere before.nnThe Winners on Decarie has a good selection, but I don’t plan on going back. This kind of attitude is unprofessional and disrespectful. They really need to work on basic communication and etiquette if their employees don’t understand these simple rules.

This Winners location almost always has a very long checkout line, but what really disappointed me was how a recent situation was handled.nnMy wife is pregnant and was extremely tired. She politely asked the manager if she could briefly step out of line just to pay, given her condition. The manager refused and said there is no policy to allow any priority, even in this situation. Despite clearly explaining that she was not feeling well, there was no flexibility or empathy shown.nnShe was not asking for special treatment just basic human consideration. The lack of understanding and compassion was very disappointing, especially for a store that serves such a large and diverse community.nnI hope management reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future.

Fantastic store, with great deals, however the staff ESPECIALLY THOSE WORKING CHRISTMAS 2025 EVE, are extremely rude. Not only are they grumpy and angry in general, as it is quite evident that they don’t want to be there by the lack of simple smile on their faces or even a simple greeting to the customer, however they are even more disrespectful, to the point it seemed they were angry we were making large purchases at the Christmas sale. The cashier asked one of her supervisors “why did you put me at the cash” out loud in-front of all the customers. During checkout, the cashier was throwing the items on the counter, and the manager - Nadege - was completely and utterly disrespectful and not understanding. She told me to “buy a bag” for 41 rolls of wrapping paper after taking the box I had away. Never have I seen this level of disrespect in a retail store, nor do I expect this behavior from a well known company TJX brand in their store Winners/Homesense. This makes me not want to bring my business here anymore. Truly disappointing and disgusting.
