It’s April 28th. We called them well over a month ago to come look at our heat pump that has stopped working. One that they had installed. They said they will get back to us with an appointment. Not a word from them. Had called a few times and same answer we will get back to you. Finally they told us we are looking at mid May - June for some one to come look at it. If there wasn't warranty involved I would call tnb plumbing to come look at it. In October I had called them with an issues with the outside unit and not a word of a lie didn't hear or see from them till the new year. I’m not bashing their workmanship. Just who ever is running the business needs to know that this is unacceptable
Went in to get an appointment to have a heat pump installed.nThey didn't show up and failed to let me know they weren't coming.nCalled them the next day and they still didn't show up.nI am litterally 4 doors from their business and they couldn't be bothered to show up. Twice.nUnbelievable.nnFurther to their response.nI was told that day someone would be there. I had to call late in the day to find out no one was coming.nAfter asking if it would Monday they were sure it would happen. It's now Wednesday evening.nI appreciate how busy your company is.nBut I need heat this winter.nThanks for the reply. I do appreciate it.
Had Windmill Electric fit three heat pumps. Right from the initial meeting everyone was friendly and professional. Kip answered all my questions and when the install was taking place Irwin, Peter and Jessie worked hard to complete the job in a clean and efficient manner. Will now be fitting a generlink for me. Highly recommended.
I had two minisplit heatpumps installed in January of 2018. The installation was done using 3/8 inch pex tubing which was reduced down 3 times, and as a result led to a blockage in the line and leaking in the interior of my walls. I have had second opinions by plumbers and another heat pump installation company who indicate this was not done properly. This resulted in my basement flooding. After having insurance examine the damage, Winmill has refused to accept any responsibility. I tried to speak with the owner Joyce yesterday who completely refuted my concerns, and refused to have anyone else come out to look at the work they did. I am now left to have additional drywall and plumbing redone at my expense. I wouldn't use this company again if you paid me.
This company seems to have chosen the big contracts over the regular folks. Trying to get better service from them leads to conflict with the owner.nCan not recommend anymore.
