Decent hotel. Clean and comfortable. Good for overnight stays. Very quiet and peaceful when we stayed. Decent view too from the room. Good value for what it cost us.nUsed the pool and gym. Decent as well.nComplimentary breakfast was half okay. The hash browns were terribly cooked, soft and sluggish. Eggs and pastries were decent.nThe staff were helpful and polite.
Unfortunately, the BAD outweighed the GOOD at this place. I booked the room based on many good reviews but believe me, this hotel is grossly over-rated!nnFirst, the GOOD things:n- Room, pool area, etc. were very, very cleann- Room 4th floor was very, very quiet, the AC worked well.n- Staff try their best with what they’ve got to work with.n- The electric tea kettle in the room was a nice touch that most hotels don’t have.nnBUT there were too many BAD or annoying things:n- The room was very tiny and cramped around the two beds. The furnishings were old and chipped.n- No tub in the bathroom, only a shower. The staff told me that none of the rooms have a bath tub, but the advertising indicates a full bathroom.n- Sink in bathroom drained too slowly - obviously clogged. This should have been checked out and addressed prior to check-in.n- No small freezer in the fridge in the room. Very inconvenient as we could not re-freeze the ice packs for our cooler.n- Hot tub in the pool area not working: no jets or bubbles. No notice about this or apology. Appears to be like that for a long time as the only thing the staff told us, is that it needs a new motor.n- Entrance to parking lot is on a curve, a dangerous exit when leaving the hotel.n- The area near the hotel has convenience stores and various food places but is NOT walkable at all, the sidewalks keep ending and you have to cross busy, dangerous parking lots and unmarked intersections to walk anywhere near the hotel. I do not recommend the location.n- The breakfast is 90% gross, processed food. The hot items are ALL just frozen, mass-produced ‘omelets’ etc. from Costco.
Last minute booking due to a change in travel plans. Was just staying the night. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Anusheel was particularly helpful with our check-in. My only note for parents with young kids is that the barn door that functions as a bathroom and closet door in our room was quite loud in the middle of the night. Fortunately our kid is a pretty sound sleeper once out, but it could be an issue for some.
Stayed here for almost a week and was very happy with our experience. The staff went the extra mile to help and my niece loved the pool! The hot tub was very nice too. The breakfast was delicious and we had fun making waffles. They were doing a reno while we were there but didn't feel disturbed by it. Stayed in a post reno room and it was lovely. Loved how welcoming they were to the dog- this was extra nice. Thank you to the staff for everything- especially the man who tried to help start my car in -28 weather. What a gem of a hotel!
Pool and hot-tub were relaxing, waffle maker with the breakfast was fascinating, secure underground parking available upon request, walk-in showers, spacious and clean rooms, paid laundry for $3 washing and $3 drying, laundry soap purchase available separately
