Customer service was amazing, the rooms however are not as good for the price you pay. $270 / night for a 1 bedroom queen bed.n- the fridge was turned up as high as it can go by someone so it froze everything including our milk for our child. I have learnt to double check fridges now lol. They helped by replacing our milk.n- every time we turned on the shower, the smoke alarm would go off. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but it was strange, the water was barely warm.n- windows are THIN, you can hear everything outside, like people's conversations on the ground from the 3rd floor. However they have really good blackout blinds.n- the pool was alright, lots of dirt and floating gunk in it. But there were a bunch of teenage boys at the time that were goofing around and breaking things that may have contributed to the garbage in the pool.nnAs long as you are nice to the staff, they will help you out with any concerns :
Couldn’t charge my electric car upon checkin. Another car white mini was plugged into only level 2 charger they had. was told, sorry it’s first come first serve. Later in evening after I paid to charge somewhere else, same car was still in spot. Turns out it was hotel manager’s car and had been fully charged for hours.nRoom had chewing gum stuck all over tile. Biggest Silverfish bug I’ve ever seen in sink gross . Had to ask for towels at pool.nOne of beds had sand in it.nFront area of hotel parking littered with cigarette butts and pieces of garbage. Overflowing garbage can outside front entrance.nPositives are that they allow pets, bed was comfortable.
The front desk staff were kind and patient on the phone and in person. We were a late check in, we let them know ahead of time we would likely be late. We arrived sometime quite late, between midnight and 2am. This was an issue because soon after we had settled in, showered and unpacked, laid down in bed we both began to itch uncontrollably. I had to go out and find some reactine at 3 in the morning. By the time I had gotten back to the hotel my partner had found silverfish bugs running around in the hotel room. We changed rooms twice after that. Each room had silverfish but since it was then 5am we decided to stay the night in the final hotel room, which still had itchy sheets and silverfish, but at least the silverfish were smaller.nnI'm sure that I slept around 3 hours.nMy partner slept around the same.nnThe staff accommodated us with a late check out, and one of the staff, by appearance and demeanor seemingly someone involved with management, promised us a discount or possibly even a full refund for our experience. Unfortunately, it's been two days now and no word on that.nnWe will not be staying there again, regardless of any refunds or discounts. The staff were pleasant though.
Upon Check in I asked if we could check in 1 hour early! First girl said “we will see you at 3pm” and then the second said “For $20 you can check in early” Did not fall for that scam.nSecond we were there for 5 days, requested our room to be freshened only to find someone else’s chewed gum in the corner behind the chair and counter was not cleaned in the washroom.nUsed the gym a few times in the morning only to find there is nothing to use to clean equipment and no towels in site.nMy son used the pool nightly and we left only for him to fall ill from the uncleanliness of the pool. Never once did I see anyone there cleaning it or the gym. Viruses spread easily and these should be a no brainer to clean several times a day!nWill never come back again. Your front desk girls are stuck up and rude!
Stayed here for one night a few weekends ago. Room was clean, lobby was clean, friendly customer service. Only issue we had was we had accidentally left our toiletry bad behind that had all our products. We called the same day we checked out, they said that they had not found anything. They proceeded to say someone had already booked our exact room. We were persistent and asked again later in which they said there wasn’t actually anyone in our room, cleaners were lying. Clerk proceeded to check our room, nothing was found, she said she would call the cleaner who cleaned our room but wasn’t reachable. Finally the bag was found sitting out in the open. Was not too happy about that especially because it seems the cleaners here can be untrustworthy.
