We stayed at the Delta Kamloops for our wedding with 150 guests, and the experience was outstanding. Leading up to the wedding, Dakota was exceptional and incredibly patient with my endless inquiries. Her organization and dedication over the past 16 months in preparing everything were deeply appreciated. During our stay, every staff member went above and beyond to provide top-notch hospitality and accommodate us.nnThe hotel itself is very clean, with lovely rooms and excellent amenities. We highly recommend the Delta Kamloops to anyone planning an event or wedding. Their ability to accommodate our large party and ensure everything went smoothly was truly impressive. The location is unbeatable, with a great selection of restaurants within walking distance, making it convenient to explore the local dining scene.nnOne of the highlights of my stay was the bar adjacent to the lobby. The drinks were excellent, and the service was top-notch. It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring or business meetings.nnThe rooms at the Delta Hotel are well-appointed and super clean. They've been recently renovated, which gives them a fresh and modern feel. The attention to detail in the room design and cleanliness really stood out to me.nnParking is also a breeze with good parking facilities that make getting in and out of the hotel easy. The overall service at the hotel is outstanding – the staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to help.nnIn summary, the Delta Hotel in Kamloops is a wonderful place to stay, whether you’re in town for business or leisure. The combination of a prime location, great amenities, and excellent service makes it a top choice. Highly recommended!
A great stay with better-than-expected amenities and service. All the staff are helpful and so nice. Great restaurant in the lobby. Excellent fitness centre and pool, quiet hallways. The rooms are fairly standard but the blackout curtain is very effective and there’s room by room control of AC and heat. Love the extra touch of an electric kettle. Just a second shout out to the staff, they’re what really made this feel like a luxury hotel.
We bought day passes to the pool and had a great experience. Initially there was a minor mix up with the server wasn’t a big deal, just slightly inconvenient, and shortly after management approached us, offered an apology, and gave us a couple of drinks on the house - exceeding our expectations for service. The pool was clean, well serviced, and it was a great way to spend a hot day. We will definitely return!
The front desk lady, Sasha, was absolutely abysmal. Not warm or welcoming, and she called my room tonight while I was SOUND ASLEEP past 9:45 for matters that were not at all pressing. Marriott needs to get more friendly staff who aren’t so uptight and cold.nnThe actual hotel was fine though. Good location, clean rooms with great view. Price was a little high, especially given the lack of hospitality mentioned above. Probably wouldn’t come back for that reason.
