Thanks to Reddit I found Windsor Quality Meats I've been looking for venison for the last 4 years and know other meat shop has it. I've made some stew and my craving is satisfied I will be coming back to buy more
Have been to Windsor meats a few times and have had great experiences. However, we just got a turkey and saw the EXACT same one at superstore for almost a third of the price. I recognize it’s a local, independent butcher- but that is pure robbery.
Me and my family came here and wanted to try quality grass fed beef. We met Luke and told him we don’t know what kind of meat we want, told him we wanted yo cook a steak. He was super friendly and very helpful. Upon paying I notice there was no tip options on their debit/credit machine, so I ask if he can just add extra $10. I’ll be back because of Luke the Sky Walker!
I bought a whole rabbit for $45. A few weeks later, saw the exact same product. Same label and everything for sale at TnT for $25. Price is just excessive and I do not appreciate getting ripped off.
I called Windsor Meats on thanksgiving weekend asking about turkey. They had closed a few hours early, but Raul I think this was your name! got someone to help me who was just helping clean up. I was able to get my turkey last minute. They went above and beyond to help me and I really appreciate the customer service and how much they went above and beyond. Thanks again
Windsor Meats is the number 1 butcher in all of the lower mainland! Both their products and their customer service are top notch and no other butcher we’ve been to has even come close to competing… Although we don’t live in Vancouver, we travel here for their dry aged steaks. Their 40 day + dry aged ribeye, TBone, strip loin are the best we have ever had. Our most recent trip was a testament to how great their service is. We thought they were closing at 6:30 our mistake. So we arrived at 6:10 on a Friday night, but they were closed. Instead of turning us away, they let us in and allowed us to purchase our steak with smiles on their faces. Thank you so much Windsor Meats.
Waited outside behind 3 people and properly socially distanced. Did not take very long and got in and instantly got assistance. Bought a pork shoulder to make pulled pork on their recommendation and it was delicious! Also very reasonably priced too relative to other larger commercial grocery stores. I would make the trip again to get other cuts.
Great meat store. Excellent variety of stuff to choose from. Fast service but crowded during peak season!! Happy shopping!!
Great quality and selection all around. Even the freezer has many more to often like rabbit, duck, elk and ground kangourou. A small selection of quality dry pasta, sauces and salt makes it the little extra that makes its extraordinary. Top quality cuts, top quality service. My only butcher for this city
I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS... ok this was the WORST meat I've ever bought. I bought 3 rib eyes and the meat was disgusting. This is dog food quality meat. The inside was hard and red and i know how to cook my steaks. If you want better quality meat go to Colombus meat market, they're way better. I hope this review saves someones dinner.
