WinCo is such a good value. They have an excellent selection, at great prices. The produce section is huge, and really good. I do wish that there were more organic choices. The lines are typically pretty long too, so this isn't a place to go if you're in a hurry. Although there is an express line for fewer items, and self-check, which is usually pretty fast.
Competition is a wonderful thing for Bend, it's been a long time coming. It was well organized, very clean, great produce. Some very good pricing, hope it's not just for the grand opening? Meats were beautiful, selection is unparalleled in Bend. Checkout was slow, understandably. Staff were polite and helpful. It was more crowded than CostCo on sample day!!! Still going to shop Walmart as well. On a recent trip to Winco; Winco needs to step up customer service. Every checkout line had atleast 3 people waiting. Did I mention they had 2 checkstands open? I had been in line waiting for 20 minutes, a newer checker walks up and takes a couple that she saw just walk up to get in line and opens a check stand to check them out. My checker had a lengthy conversation with a customer while her line waited. It went beyond pleasantries...... Winco has been open long enough to work the bugs out. Next time I want get in and out, I'm going to Walmart.
Lowest prices in town for so many items. It’s like Costco and Walmart had a baby. Not my line but I love it. No frills but it’s always clean. You have to bag your own so be ready for that if you need help. It’s a great place to stock up and save. The employees have always been friendly.
Tammy is the best!!! She's the only one that consistently never misses that we bring our reusable bags and always is so happy to help us. An absolute sweetheart and a hard worker. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience each time Tammy!
We went in late at night due to my friends work schedule and my friend had been struggling with a few things, the ladies in there at the check out were amazingly uplifting and encouraging toward her. Everything in the store was orderly and when we had questions there were always staff members available nearby to help us out, this was my first visit and it was an all around great experience even at the hour we went.
I am budgeting and found Winco very accommodating. Buying from the bulk section saves lots of money. Lots of items to choose from. Bought 4 bay leaves 7 cents. Dry chicken stock 57 cents. For a single person, this works well.
I love this grocery store! You can't beat the prices! Fresh produce, wonderful bakery and stocked shelves : totally worth the 2 hrs. drive to get there, living in the country.
Went in tonight to pickup champagne for me and my wife's Christmas party tomarrow. Happened to have my daughter with me, at checkout the cashier rudely insisted I gave them my Daughters ID to which I asked why. She insisted it's store policy. Then started mumbling to herself she. "Couldn't do this". I asked what she meant then she got on her radio and refused to talk to us for minuites as we waited for a manager to arrive. And before I had a chance to explain it was my daughter and I was the one purchasing alcohol. After they had checked my ID. The manager told us to leave. I will Not ever return. And highly encourage you to spend the extra money, go to a store closer to your house. And be treated with respect.
We came all the way from Texas and used to everything being large. This big store has all the amenities of what you would need at your home. Very clean and well stocked. I do a lot of healthy cooking and Keto cooking, they always have what I need!!
This place is absolutely MASSIVE compared to the ones I used to go to. For a split moment I found myself feeling like I was at Costco! Not ripping on Costco but I prefer this place :3
