Most of the bad ratings are from years ago.. when times were challenging. We ate here for the first time, just a few nights ago and were very impressed with both the staff and the meal. It was a last minute 'take a chance' to stop and have something to eat while on our way to another destination. We'll be back! I had ordered a spinach and fetta omelet / fries, with a side of bacon, and my spouse had ordered the fried chicken mashed potatoes and veggies with a side of garlic toast. So yummy! The place was very clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We also loved the 80s music. :-
Wimpy's Milton is so good. This time I went for breakfast and the food never disappoints. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose from the menu. And the service is great too. The servers are always so pleasant and kept my coffee full with as many refills as I asked for! The decor at Wimpy's is very cool too. There are so many things on the walls to read and look at and enjoy. I've been there many times and will definitely keep returning.
Surprisingly good. Better than your average diner. Quick clean service and everyone was pleased with their meals. Hours are very convenient for those looking for something late at night which is better than fast food.
I was a little suspicious when I realized the diner was connected to a gas station but I was pleasantly surprised. It's clean, has a fun atmosphere, quick service and very tasty food. We were craving a real breakfast after several days of hotel breakfasts. Wimpy's did not disappoint. Great standard fare - eggs, sausage & pancakes, and the Breakfast Poutine was fabulous! Coffee wasn't half bad either.
If you haven't been you should be. Amazing breakfast omelets and the fried home fries are out of this world and I don't even like potatoes! As you can tell by the picture nothing went to waste just to my waiste. The staff all weekend were exceptional - friendly, and fun.
We visited the Wimpy's Diner location in Milton on RR25 on July 24 at around 4pm, and were super HUNGRY. The first thing that caught my attention was how friendly the staff was! And to make it even better it was extremely clean. We were attended to by Sarah and she was great in answering all our questions regarding the menu as it is vast. We ended up ordering a breakfast poutine and Southwest eggs benedict. Both the dishes were delicious, fresh and brought to our table within very good time. The breakfast poutine had homemade fries topped with a variety of meats and hollandaise sauce. Since we love bread, we ordered a side of Garlic bread and toast, which were fresh and crispy. The southwest eggs benedict came on a muffin with meats, mushrooms, onions and a whole lot of delicious sauce. All in all the food was delicious...we thoroughly enjoyed it and I must make a special mention once again of how good Sarah was with her service.... friendly, patient and kept checking with us if we needed anything in a timely fashion : I highly reccomend this Wimpy's location and will definitely be visiting it again. Kudos to the kitchen staff and the friendly servers. Its the ppl that make any restaurant special :
Amazing! We haven’t been to a Wimpy’s in ages, and it’s WAY better than we remembered. Food was fast, plentiful, and beautifully prepared. Service from Tammie & Tammy was delightful. 10/10 will eat here again!
Great place for breakfast in Milton. I like old school Diners decor with matching tasty food. We had wimpy omelette, poutine, French toast and egg Benedict and everything was good. Portions are generous and staff is friendly. BTW didn’t know there was a option for crispy breakfast potatoes, love it.
Haven’t been to a wimpy’s diner in a long time Decided today I would give it another shot and I came across this location which is relatively new and I must say had an amazing time! The Customer service we received was outstanding, where we were not only greeted in a timely manor but shown the upmost respect and curiosity The waitress was extremely happy, very nice and even gave us some suggestions to add on/ try an it was delicious To whoever the chef was/is, they did an amazing job and are phenomenal at there craft Food was delicious and I will for-sure be returning to this location more often definitely recommend stopping here to grab some food and experience the amazing customer service !!
Sort of a retro restaurant just outside of the main part of Milton. Went for dinner and had the chicken club sandwich. It was good and the service was great. A bit pricey but I would recommend it to anyone.
