Lowville Bistro

Great stop and hidden gem in historic Lowville. We visited based on a recommendation from a friend and as we were in the area, made a plan to stop in. Keeping lunch simple, we elected for the burger and a butter chicken. Both dishes were plated well and had deep, rich flavours. Butter chicken had a lovely home made quality. Fries were top notch: super long, crispy, golden and salty. Restaurant itself was bustling and comfortable. Patio looked great and the mild autumn day had a few adventurous diners enjoying it. Service was fast and friendly. Parking: A dozen or so on site, more at the adjacent green P.

The food and the service was great! Really liked that it was not busy at all, especially on a Sunday night and after the Covid limits were lifted.

Food, drink, service, environment is all High Quality!! Just Fantastic You can tell everything is carefully chosen. Once you visit, you become family. I only wish they were open all week. Always Magick In Lowville

I came here for a date and everything was exceptional. The service attentive, The wine selection was great, we had the pasta and it was so good. We also finished with coffee and cake which was delicious. I give this restaurant a 10/10 and would definitely come back

Lovely and relaxing rustic garden patio with lots of natural shade. Food and service were excellent. Glad we made a unplanned stop here for lunch. What a gem!

Our food experience was a huge disappointment at any price however we overpaid significantly for what we got $150 for 2 people which included a beer and glass of wine. I ordered the seafood risotto which should have been called Tomato Sauce Shrimp stirred into al dente rice. Awful! When we mentioned the undercooked risotto to our server nothing was done to correct it. We shared an underwhelming Caesar salad and my dinner companion ordered the bland burger and fries. This place should be embarrassed about the quality of the food they are offering at the prices being charged.

We were in a big group, we waited long time to receive our meals. They mixed up with orders and ... The service was not desirable. I ordered a burger which tasted more like a burned food than anything else, like no spices in that. My friends had chicken sandwiches they didn’t like their food either. Only pasta seemed to be ok.

Nice Bistro for some lunch. We went here before exploring lowville park. Good spot if you're hungry and don't want to eat river crayfish from the park...

Had a great lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everything was excellent! Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Lowville Bistro just hosted my daughters ConfirmAtion party and we couldn’t be happier with not just the food and atmosphere but the excellent service! Although we had a large group, the food came out hot, fresh, timely and incredibly delicious !
