Story

Wilson State Park is a 36acre state park in Harrison, Michigan, located on the shores of Budd Lake. The primary activities are camping, swimming, and fishing.The land for the park was donated to the city of Harrison in 1900 by a lumber company. In 1922 the land was transferred to the state, and in 1927 the state park was dedicated.Facilities and activitiesSwimmingFishing: Muskellunge, bass, panfish, perch and walleye inhabit Budd Lake.Boating: A concrete launch is located on the south shore of the lake, outside of park boundaries.
