Lake George Campground

New owners this year! Let's see if they can live up to the last ones. Already seeing improvements in the park. Cozy wooded campground with inground pool!

Rude! The owners treated us like we were an inconvenience. They messed up our reservations and when asked about it Roxanne replied "you don't have to stay here". The ammenities were nice with the exception of the unsafe playground equipment ( the swings nearly tipped over when my 30 lb child tried to swing on it.) Most of the other campers were seasonal and 50+ years old. Many of whom drove around on golf carts peering in at other campers. The camp sites were too close together and there was no privacy. I read some reviews on Yelp and it seems others had similar experiences at Lake George campground. I don't recommend this campground. My family did not enjoy our experience. This is not a family friendly place. I would suggest staying at the local state campground if your looking to stay in the area.

We love it here! The new owners are so accommodating and friendly. Our family and friends are always made to feel welcome...We have finally found a place to call home.

We have spent many weekends here with family and friends and would highly recommend this campground! Owners Roxanne and Andy are amazing and the campers are so friendly!
