Wilson Dental PC (Syracuse)

I wouldn't even give them one star. This has been the worst dental office I have ever been too. The wait is horribly long. Waiting three hours just for someone to count my child's teeth and make a appointment w. The pediatric dentist is a little ridiculous. My son has only been here for two appointments and there will not be a third. Will not recommend. Both visits have been over a two hour wait. The only reason I will even give a half star is because the receptionists are very nice.

The building looks small, but there's a lot of love in there😀 Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Maria my hygienist gave me good service, advice and polished smile (i posted). The X-ray tech had a busy morning and stayed happy. If this was the Olympics Wilson Dental gets 10,10,10. And the crowd went wild 👏👏💐💐

SO FAR SO GOOD-To make this short and upfront, the only problems I can really complain about are the dirty carpets in the waiting room and people tend to wait outside and it seems as if everyone except for me SMOKES. NOT GOOD for someone like me while I am waiting outside who does NOT. ALSO-People tend to park outside and BLAST their music so the whole block can hear it. Everyone has their own kind of music that they like and just because THEY want to hear that-does not mean the whole block should be forced to listen to it. What is wrong with playing it at a reasonable level? DON'T they know that sound that loud is not good for their ears, and it will certainly catch up with them later on in life as will the smoking.

So I saw all the negative reviews and I had to leave a good one. Our boys were graced with my husbands soft teeth and each one if them has had serious decay issues at a very young age. Our first had to have work done at age 3, it was done here at Wilson and Our second oldest boy needed work at age 3 also. The building is huge for a dentist office. It IS located right in the city of Syracuse, it WILL be busy, ALL DAY EVERY DAY! It is not going to like your family dentists office BUT if your family dentists office could do the work you wouldn't be here at all... Our family dentist could not do the work our kids needed on their teeth. They needed nearly all of the teeth to be filed down and have caps put on all of the molars, but no other office within 200 miles would do the work or take the insurance. I am not saying it is super personalized care but they know what they are doing, they are kind and answered all of my questions. The wait was pretty long each time(30 min-2 hours) we went but the waiting room is giant and full nearly full every time we went. They made my childrens teeth better without terrifying them about the dentist, ie: they used the anesthesia. The thing that was the hardest for me was leaving my kids so they could do the work on their teeth. but it is much like a surgery, would you be able to be present for a surgery-no, it still does not make it any less difficult though to leave your kids in the hands of strangers, but they were good dentists and know what they are doing. We are taking our youngest there for work soon also. Overall a good facility and for kids oral surgeons, there aren't many and they are good here. I give it 4 stars because I feel if they improved the interior (waiting room) and exterior appearance of the building it would be more comforting for families to take their kids to for dental work.

Horrible attitude, rude receptionist. Refused to call my insurance company to verify benefits, which is a highly reputable company. METLIFE, also the insurance company is a participating provider CONTRACTED WITH THIS VERY OFFICE, Refusing to accept ID card, stating SSN is required, when in fact it isn't in any way. Just rude and unprofessional in every aspect. Her name was also stephany
