As far as boat launches go, I have no qualms, however there is a certain lack of parking which on a busy day becomes a large problem. However just down the road is an additional parking lot. The park itself has pleasant paths to meander down while looking over the grand river to some of the region's first wind turbines. Would have a five star review however the garbage cans are in a constant state of overflow. There are porta-potties available. In summation the park is excellent in all capacities except perhaps the trash related issue.
We come here almost every weekend when we ride through highway 54. A nice little parking lot with picnic benches and great views of Grand River. There is also a boat ramp. Porter potty is only available during late Spring to mid Fall.
I go for walks to this park frequent, they put 180 Canada Flags up, looks greatnThey could use lights on the walkway for night time and a nice boardwalk on the water would also be nice, check out Elliot Lake they put a beautiful one there with shades and allnWould be a great fishing place to go
Nice views of the grand river. There's a path for a riverside walk and a pretty cool flag display.
A great place to fish , launch your boat and take a picnic
