We appreciated the opportunity to walk along the waterfront boardwalk , view the harbour marine life, view the children involved in the active playground area, sit on the comfortable benches and have restaurants close by and the many shopping opportunities that are easily accessible…this is the venue for Saturday Markey available from April to October…there is plenty of free parking available in the entire area…this was a good place to relax while in Ganges…
Lovely place for the kids to play. The view out over the Harbour is soothing. It's nice that there is a row of small stores right next to the park that serve delicious food.
A very cool little park in Ganges where there is lots for everyone. There is a great play park for the kids, there is a great wooden boardwalk along the waterfront where you can see all the boats and we enjoyed watching a heron feast on his lunch. There are also several memorial displays here for the historian buffs as well. See below pics.
A fun place to go and check out local crafts and foods, or just sit and watch the harbor.
Great playground for kids with a nice view of the water. Public washrooms right by the playground. We were not here on a market day, but would have added to the liveliness. Not much shade over the park when we were there at midday baby swings were shaded though!, but with the nearby trees there must be some at other times of day, and there was lots of surrounding shade for caregivers to sit.
