I wasn't able to visit all of the park, but I did go on a hike to see some of the rock features and caves. The park seems well maintained and a beautiful place to get out into nature. As an amateur photographer there are lots of beautiful things to take pictures of almost any time of year.

Perfect for a day to get away from the heat. We went in the beginning of July, on a day that was in the upper 80's and on our hike, it was perfect. The canopy of trees cooled the hiking path at least 10-15 degrees. It felt incredible. And the rock formations and the paths were similar you the experience we had at starved rock. But it's closer to home and not at all crowded. I think we saw a dozen people over the course of 4 hours. It felt pretty secluded, especially in comparison to starved rock. I would highly recommend wild cat den to anyone looking for a fairly easy but also scenic and enjoyable hike.

Nice trails in a small/mid size state park. Deep hardwood and pine trails. Clean and well cared for campground.

Great place to go for a hike. Nice trails and the best part is that it's not so far out from the Quad Cities.

Amazing place to walk and explore. Well maintained trails. Plenty of areas to climb or easily walk with a stroller/wheelchair. It is worth going when the mill is open- check website for hours.
