This is good place to shop if you know your prices. Chocolate bars are a little more expensive than most other places. Chocolate bars must be bought in boxes of 40. They have a good variety of fruits vegetables, pop, Turkeys, fish ice cream etc..
This place is fine to shop at if you like to buy in bulk. Today I purchased some large boxes of chips at a good price. There is lots of parking and the location is very convenient for myself living in the neighborhood of Fairview. The lineups for the cashier usually seem quite reasonable.
My parents have been customers here for last 30 years spending several thousand dollars per month for their pizza restaurant.nnThe quality of mushroom is too poor and expensive from previous mushroom suppliers. Often hard to find fresh and good mushrooms.nnThe recent quality for mushroom have been really bad. My parents worry to find another supplier soon because they cannot serve the customers with poor quality mushrooms.
I am having difficulty understanding the operations of this store. It appears to be a wholesale store, but purchasing in bulk is more expensive than buying smaller, individual bags. I believe many customers are unaware of this, even after consulting with the store's employees. They confirm that the larger, bulk items are more expensive, which is quite unusual. I am also surprised that Walmart offers lower prices for most items, including dark brown sugar, which has become quite expensive. Instead of purchasing the 20 kg bag for approximately $76, it is more economical to buy the 1 kg bags, although this may result in increased plastic waste. The logic behind this pricing strategy is unclear, and it seems to be misleading to customers.
I have gone here a few times, trying to understand what the store is trying to be... and failing at.nnIts a cross between a great canadian superstore and a costco.... it mistly carries superstore products at identical prices...nSo your likely better off going to a superstore that is cleaner and has a better layout, which explains the lack of customers and cashiers.nnI will likely not return, why would I shop at an uglier store but pay the same prices.nOr I'll stick with Costco.
