This is a good place to do your shopping. They have a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, bread, pop, chips, juice, meat and so many more items. Be careful and always check your prices. We bought some peppers today the price said 5.99 for the bag but we were charged 7.99.
Wholesale - Not Really ????????nWholesale Store that are Higher than Grocery Store Stores prices on MOST Products ... So sadnNot all items are Wholesale Prices - So Shop aroundnAlso they do not Price Match - Some Items are less expensive in the Real Canadian SuperstorenThey ask for Membership - But it does not give any benefitsnThey recently started giving.. after many decades PC Optimum pointsnExcellent staff and service
Wholesale has been a pretty decent store, itnhas good items for home and commercial use. They have a good selection of meats, produce, bakery and dairy items. Sometimes you can get a pretty good deal. It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.nnThis isn’t the stores fault, but for some reason nobody likes to return their carts to the stalls. Really irritating. Watch out for your cars!nI don’t think it’s fair for the staff to always have to gather the carts throughout the whole parking lot.
I am a business owner who spends between $4,000 and $6,000 every month at the Wholesale Club location on Barlow in Calgary. On August 11 at 11:00 AM, I purchased around $600 worth of drinks and other items. Later that day, my cashier at my store noticed that one of the 24-pack Fanta Pineapple bottle cases I purchased was expired. I planned to return it the very next day.nnWhen I came back, I picked up a replacement case from the shelf, but it had fewer bottles than a full case some had clearly been taken by customers. The original case I bought was full with all 24 bottles, but this replacement was short, so the cashier had to override the price. She called the grocery manager, William, to approve the override.nnThat’s when the experience took a disappointing turn. Without checking my receipt, reviewing the security cameras which I even suggested, or hearing me out, William approached with an accusatory tone and immediately accused me of being a scammer claiming I was trying to return a product from April by misreading “AU” August as “APR.” This was over a $20 item, despite my receipt clearly showing the purchase had been made the day before.nnAfter making me wait about 15 minutes, William came back with a new accusation that I had purchased the case from another location and was “like other scammers” he’s seen. This, despite the fact that both the cashier who sold it to me the day before and the store’s own cameras could confirm my purchase. At that point, it was clear to me that his actions were discriminatory and targeted. He knew he was in the wrong, but instead of apologizing, he offered to “make an exception” only if I provided my full name, store address, and phone number, as if I were being entered into some watchlist.nnBefore leaving, I asked him directly: “Why did you come at me so aggressively at the start saying it was April when it clearly says August?” His only response was, “Sorry, I can’t read.” That made it even clearer he had made a mistake from the beginning yet still chose to treat me with complete disrespect.nnIt is concerning how quickly a manager can turn a straightforward return into a public accusation. This location appears to have no issue leaving expired products on shelves, but invests time in humiliating loyal customers. If this is how a long-time customer who spends thousands every month is treated, I can only imagine the experience of a first-time shopper.nnI will be taking this matter to corporate and pursuing further action to ensure this kind of treatment does not happen to anyone else. I expect a formal apology and assurance that such conduct will not occur again.
