Went to dinner here with my family and had a great dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I wouldn't change a thing. The food and service were awesome! I had chicken piccata. My husband had spare ribs and our daughter had pasta. They all not only looked good but more importantly tasted good too! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended! They pay a lot of attention to details like chilled salad plates, steaming pretzel rolls, a very friendly waiter Matt, high quality coffee, fresh berries in my ice cream and no canned food here. I absolutely loved the fireplace and the wine room!
Never again. While I normally have no objection to paying $75 for dinner and drinks for two people, I feel that at least you should get your money's worth for that price. The restaurant was mostly empty, yet one server remarked several times that they were "understaffed for how busy it was". The salads were meager in size and the house dressing tasted like it was made with Miracle Whip. Portions are small, dinnerware was not the cleanest, and I witnessed a server drop someones meal on the floor followed by another losing an entire tray of half-full water glasses. We were served our meals and then abandoned for over an hour by our server who didn't even approach us once to ask if our dinner was prepared to our liking. My chicken was somewhat lukewarm and was served with about twenty green beans. My date's pasta was chewy and flavorless. Do yourself a favor: Save some money, go across the street to Ruby Tuesday. It may not be as "upscale", but you'll dine at a cleaner establishment with better service, better food, and will not leave hungry and disappointed.
I ordered the steak and it was well aged and cooked to order. The twice potato was delicious withe the cheese and bacon topping. The asparagus grilled please was treated perfectly split and a perfect compliment. The large amount of mushrooms distracted from the flavor of the entire meal. Not a bad thing... less is more.... New management. .. new chef Brad.... must go see and enjoy. 4 stars....
I have to say the food was pretty good, but 2 hours and 15 minutes in, we still didn't get served our main entree. There were many of our group more than pissed. The manager offered a round of drinks and only got half the group. One guest found a bread tie in their salad. The waitress was handing out checks before the last of our group was served. Still never got our marinara sauce for our calamari.
Very Nice looking place. Bar is beautiful. I ordered some kind of seafood combo. I waited over an hour. Then I got 1 scallop that was wrinkled and the size of quarter, 3 shrimp also had all the moisture sucked out of it, and some crappy Eat n Park style baked fish covered with in grease. Excluding the fact that my dinner probably sat in the window for 40 minutes, it was IMO a very chinsy portion for $22. The waitress was very mediocre as well. We sat with empty water glasses for a good 15 minutes, and she could care less. It's too bad. I am always looking for different places. Will not go back.
Terrible terrible terrible! Party of 20 came in with plenty of notice and pre planning. The room is not ready and staff was scrambling to get it set up. After 2 hours most people still did not have their food!!!! At almost two and a half hours I had to eventually leave , Ridiculous! Once we did get the food it was mediocre at best! Chicken and waffles was a joke!! Someone dropped the ball big time on our private party. And to top it all off there was absolutely no one in the restaurant at 11:45 a.m. so it is not like it was busy. I hope that noone paid for this !!! I would have walked out but it wasn't my family hosting. And I can definitely guarantee you I would NOT have paid for ANY of that food. You would think after waiting so long they would bring us french fries ,onion rings anything they could to just feed us or even family style salad. Nothing !!! they gave us burnt toast what are we supposed to do with that! Hungry customers are not happy customers. I'm not sure who owns this place but they said it is shutting down and that is not surprising. Please spare yourself the headache and time and do not go
Went for lunch yesterday. Ordered a bottle of wine red got white, waitress brought the red and said it was our fault. Ordered calamari app- they were out-ordered crab stuffed mushrooms, looked like mushrooms from the back yard filled with tuna and mayo. also loaded with garlic salt. Oh and cold and coagulated sauce-sent those back and she brought out 3 new and it was exactly same but microwaved and awful. Entrees were the filet....one looked like shoe leather and tasted worse. The bill was over $200. She left both bottles of wine on bill even tho we didn't order or drink more than a splash to taste, and left mushrooms on too. Couldn't even get a glass of water. Back when they first opened food was excellent and service impeccable - now you'd probably fare better at Golden Corral - the food is probably better and the bill won't be so ridiculous.
The atmosphere is so cozy but yet so elegant. Myself and my family absolutely loved this place. We sat in front of the fire place in the main room and loved our seat. The staff was very friendly, everyone mad sure to come and greet us. Our waiter, Matt, was very helpful and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. You can tell someone really pays attention to detail here. I ordered the pasta filled with mushrooms served with alfredo sauce and chicken. It was delicious! The pasta definitely tasted homemade. My dad ordered the ribs, in addition to them being large and meaty you could tell there was a lot of time put into making the rub for them . My mom ordered the chicken piccatta, delicious! We ordered the vanilla ice cream for dessert and they took the time to finely slice up some fresh strawberries and drizzle it with a fruit sauce and fresh blueberries. We really loved this place. The only negative I would have to say is that they should advertise more since they are situated behind some other businesses. We will definitely go back here and bring more people with us next time. Thanks for the good experience whitefire grille and spirits!
Food was good but the service was Horrible. Bad part is it wasn't even busy. Half the restuarant was empty...I may now know why. The staff was friendly but the wait to get drinks after given menus was almost 15-20 minutes. Then to order apps and receive them, about 30-40 minutes. Basically an hour+ before we could even order our entrees. They said it was due to a large party ahead of us? What the heck would they have done if those 20+ empty tables were full!? That is no excuse when you aren't even busy. We literally tried about a dozen places before this and everyone was packed and had a hour+ long wait. We thought we got super lucky when we called and they said there was no wait currently. Yeah we may have gotten seated right away but we waited over an hour just to order our entrees. Really a shame, because the food was good entree portion size wasn't good for the price though and the staff very friendly. However, I can see this restuarant being mismanaged into closing because I doubt anyone who had our experience would ever return. I know we won't. I really wish we stayed at Michael Alberini's for the 60-80 minute wait for a table. We literally would've been done and happier, with probably an extra hour of our lives back.
Sadly not what it used to be. Menu prices were high. $7 for a mixed drink that tasted like a flat soda. Friend and I waited 45-50 minutes for a bowl of bisque and an order of greasy fish and fries. We were told to wait for basket of bread that would be coming out of the oven in a few minutes... instead we got a basket of cold slices and server, whom we rarely saw, said she swore it had just come out of oven. Ha, imagine that! So disappointing!
