Ordered 3 dishes. Out of the 3 only one was decent that is why I gave a 2 star. I ordered the Alfredo… the chicken was beyond dry and burnt, I usually can look past that because the Alfredo sauce will make it edible. Unfortunately there was absolutely no sauce. I took one bite and it was basically just buttered noodles. For $25 I could have made buttered noodles at home myself. They must have been hoarding the sauces today because we also ordered a burger..the amount of sauce was a dot the size of a quarter. Dry flavorless burger and dry flavorless pasta. Waste of almost $50. I wish I would have taken a photo of the burger but I don’t even think to. Disappointed especially since I used this as my cheat meal :
Delicious food as you expect from other branches. This place was clean, quiet with friendly staff. Burgers are famous and very delicious. They are in decent size and come with a side. Fries is bottomless. I liked it more if our server was checking on us more frequently. It also had a nice bar, I saw some people quite enjoy it. Convenient free parking available in plaza and this branch has curbside designated parking
Ordered salmon burger and cod burger. Both very tasty and well presented. Hostess seated us quickly, even though it was during a rush period. Table service was a bit slow and inattentive, no smile until we tipped her. Would go back again, and hope we get a different server?Food: 5/5
This is the first time to give full stars to a White Spot restaurant. It might have been that we were there early, at 9 a.m., but service was great, food came promptly and all tasted yummy. Good job, Kensington!
Classic Benedict is a dish I normally order and it never disappoints me. Eggs were perfectly poached, English muffin was soft and fragrant, and the smash brown potatoes were crispy. Attentive and quick services. Clean, cozy table.
My husband and me were passing by and decided to stop here to have dinner. We had been at another location before so we already knew the kind of service and food is served in here but this time we ordered something different that we hadn't tried before. I had a chicken salad because I was having a lot of morning sickness during the day since I was pregnant that came with some toast, some nuts and spicy sauce. I thought it was a simple one but it had some dressing that made it very delicious and eatable for my taste. I enjoyed it so much that even my husband wanted to try some. And he ordered the 3 piece fish and chips that came with coleslaw. This last one was a fresh one and the fish was very well done and big for the price we paid. The service was very kind and fast and it was not crowded that day, it was a Wednesday when we went here and just because of the great service of the server is that we are going back here, more than the food even though we liked what we ate very much. Thumbs up!
Staff is always great and a good selection of booth seating. Usually not too busy although good to make a reservation, having said that there have been a number of times I have done that only to arrive and they have no record of it. They always find a spot for me though when it has been busy. The big drawback to white spot is the prices, too much for what you get. I go because my kid loves it.
Good breakfast. Bacon and eggs. X2. My eggs were poached perfect to my liking and I had 1/2 waffle. Hubby had toast. Ordered coffee with 1/3 water as I find their coffee strong it was right on. Happy with service and not to busy at 930am on Sunday.Food: 5/5
Update: Ordered delivery. Burger was burnt, the fish in the fish and chips was dry and hard - very small pieces. As for the fries, looks like they gave me all the remnants in the frying basket. Whomever packed the the burger put it on its side in the bag. The sauces leaked out into the bag and the burger was messed up. Great food and great service. Very consistent quality!
Came in for a quick drink, just myself. A host seated me at the bar. I waited for 25 minutes to be even acknowledged before deciding to get up and leave. The restaurant was not busy and I watched about three servers behind the bar watching the hockey game and talking with one another. I even stacked my menus to indicate that I was ready to order, one server even looked at me then proceeded to walk away. Not even a glass of water was offered that entire time. It's White Spot so I am not expecting Michelin star service but when the restaurant is slow and your still not getting served, you start to take it personally. Even a "hello, be right with you" would've been nice. Last time I was in, I ordered take out. Which was incorrect and took four attempts to get it right. I didn't write a complaint cause it seems like this location is primarily staffed by teens, perhaps with their first serving job. Messing up my lunch several times isn't worth someone losing their job. We all were young once, with a first job. However, waiting that long to be checked in with isn't the goal of working in a restaurant or customer service.
