This place was amazing! The bread was so fresh it literally taste like it just came out of the oven the crust was nice and hard while the interior was very soft. Tomato soup was super creamy and absolutely delicious! The salad had some of the best dressing that I’ve tried in a while and all of the other ingredients for me to perfection. Definitely going to be stopping by this place every time I’m in town now.
Excellent. Really cute inside and lovely outside seating area too with nice selection of picnics benches, metal bistro seating and wooden benches and tables. Really good menu and super reasonable pricing for everything. All the baked goods looked amazing and the blueberry polenta cake we had was very tasty. We also had a very delicious cheese which was excellent value. Highly recommend.
A surprising treat! My husband chose this place and minimal is on their website. The food was delicious and the coffee was excellent! Would love to visit again. Nice outside patio area to enjoy our breakfast.
I ordered ginger molasses cookie, granola & yogurt bowl and an Americano. Granola bowl is very well balanced between yogurt tanginess and granola crunchy and compote sweet. Ginger cookie has a nice flavor but very mild. Honestly, if you were to blind taste test the cookie, I couldn't tell you that it was ginger or molasses, but it does have good flavor and well baked. While mixing my granola and yogurt, I misproportioned the mix and ran out of granola. So I asked if I could have a little more granola and it was no problem. The coffee had a weird smell to it. Something akin to hemp or flax or something hippie-ish. But the taste was rather yummy and I drink it all so it couldn't have been that bad. If you're a fan of homemade granola, even if it's a little on the sweet side, they sell it separately and I was very tempted to purchase it because it was definitely the highlight of the breakfast. Service with a smile. Cafe cleanliness is above average with no concerns there. Seating is in one big open room so louder echoey noise level is expected. But at the same time creates a festive mood. No plastic or styrofoam present. Refreshingly the plates and silverware were actual ceramic plates and metal silverware. Even the fruit compote cup is a paper product. The open room is so open that the bakers are even actively kneading the bread dough with no barrier between the customers and their work station. It gives kind of a an old world meal feel all very pleasant. It was a little on the pricier side but that's to be expected for fancy white salmon. However, it being a locally owned business I'm happy to pay the price.
If you are in white salmon, passing by white salmon or anywhere in the surrounding states STOP AT THIS BAKERY. Incredible baked goods, sweet and savory. They have a beautiful breakfast and lunch menu, great coffee and drink menu and then you can send yourself home with a loaf of bread. Outdoor seating to enjoy your treats with a stunning view. The staff are great just don't upset the male server by having multiple tickets on your table, he may chip your plate when he begrudgingly tosses your dish onto the table.
The pastries are amazing! The bakery was great! They serve coffee & other items, but the star feature is their baked goods. Coffee OK, mimosas OK, but the pastries? Oh, MY!
Excellent pizza on Monday night. Nice place for coffee or beer on the patio, with a Mt Hood view. Dogs allowed on patio. Good service although a little slow.
Ordered takeaway ahead for the renowned Monday pizza night. We went with the Prosciutto and Heirloom Tomato pies. They were both absolutely delicious. Grabbed a bottle of orange wine to pair with it as well. 10/10 would eat again.
Always spectacular. The quiche is likely the best I’ve ever tried. Cardamom rolls are croissant-like, flaky, buttery, and amazing! The smoked trout toast was exceptional, a classic pairing of capers, pickled onions and soft cooked egg on a slice of wholesome, hearth-baked, bread. Love this place!
Simply outstanding, and unexpectedly so in such a small town! Thank goodness we stopped here the first morning of a three day trip so that we knew enough to come back every morning thereafter. Good coffee menu, great breakfast sandwiches on homemade English muffins and bread, but above all--the pastries. Cannot stop thinking about the cardamom caramel sticky bun or the lemon glazed huckleberry scone. Not only are the flavors outstanding and inventive, but their mastery of the proper crumb, texture and done-ness is obvious on the first bite. Worth a drive across the river for a visit!
