White Gull Restaurant & Marina

Lockeport doesn't have many places to dine, so this place could probably survive even if it didn't serve good food. But it does. We dined there twice, and both times enjoyed our food. Compliments to the cook, she is great.

We went in because it was the nearest restaurant on our road trip and it looked good. We left feeling much regret after multiple mistakes and horrible service. The restaurant was empty and there was still a long wait for the food. When the food finally came, they had really mixed up our orders. Some of us were not even able to eat. Absolutely absurd.

Lovely spot with a great view. Just had dessert (very good) but lots of appealing seafood dishes. Will return for sure!

Horrible experience. First, my hot chocolate tasted like it was made with dirty dish water. I wish I asked my server to drink some of what she made me. The cup was also very dirty. Second, after me and my cousin notified our server that we can not eat bacon because are vegetarian and it didn't say it on the menu anyway, they bring out our cesar salads WITH bacon and tried to convince us to eat it when we said twice that we do not eat bacon. Not only that, but instead of remaking it, they told us we have no more lettuce and that was the last of it. Which was a lie because they brought salads to the table next to us. Finally, they made us pay for everything that we did not eat and said there was nothing they can do. This is absolute bullsh*t because what the hell kind of restaurant runs out of lettuce and then makes the customers pay for it i'm sick to my stomach this place has horrible service and i hope it gets shut down.

Great sitting out on patio over looking ocean ....service was excellent .... food was great ..!
