Nice quiet neighborhood spot with easy parking and a flat walking trail, a bridge that crosses a small pond benches on the bridge make great place for watching the ducks while eating lunch. The traditional in-ground bbq pit seems to be inoperable as I’m writing this in March 2022 but there’s a small “stage” along with covered and uncovered picnic benches overlooking the playfield. No play equipment or playground for kiddos, FYI. The part of the loop along 8th Ave can seem a little sketchy because there’s no sidewalk and a small shoulder, and it’s a 2 lane road where many cars are going too fast; I recommend walking against traffic on that side.
Nice little park for walking and checking out nature.
Clean beautiful park, full of information plaques, and plenty of space to have picnics or pictures. Full of local wildlife! So fun, nice easy walk for small children, and there's even a community garden!
I love the ducks here. It is a wild pond. I wonder if there are frogs or turtles here? I want to take care of this pond when I see the ducks here, especially the small cheeping babies.
Chill park with a little bit of parking. A few seating options and a little garden area. It's a great place to take your dog and go for a short walk.
Enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness of the park. The pig cooking area is a plus. The walk around the pond/ lake was also relaxed and informative with the signs giving information about the Fauna and Flora.
Beautiful hidden gem. Bring nutritious duck snacks... they'll see you as you cross the cool little bridge!
A lovely little park with a nifty bridge over looking a picturesque pond. Plenty of ducks and ducklings. There is also a community garden and picnic tables some of which are covered. Right on the 128 & 131 bus lines.
This park might be a little secluded and hard to find if you don’t already know that it’s there. My favorite part about this park is the bridge at the far end of the area which goes over a wetland with beautiful waters, tall sweeping grass, shady trees, and playful ducks. It is a serene location to enjoy a place of nature and water. The park also has amenities such as picnic tables and a shelter, a small amphitheater, and a community garden.
Nice green belt & footbridge. Picnic tables & grills; one covered. Community garden raised boxes.
