A great place for hiking. There are multiple hiking trails and they are a bit challenging. But the view from the top is beautiful
Lots of places to sit with a view; great people watching. Don't forget to bring water reusable bottle and food: while it's a short hike, it requires some energy.
What a fantastic experience!! The staff were all so personable and funny and that helped put everyone in our group at ease. The hike up to the jump site is pretty intense, but the view is amazing! Our jump instructor, Stephan, was amazing! Everything about today's jump was just phenomenal!!
Dangerous road with high speeds in opposite directions and no median. But if you pull over without a head on collision, the landings are fun to watch and the parking is apt.
My husband took paragliding lessons from them and really loves the sport. Watching the whole process has been interesting and probably realize most people don't even know about this sport.
I loved everything! To fly without wings, to enjoy the wonderful people out there, Mark and his team will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable! The view at sunset.... just amazing, the grandiose Mount Rainier.... I felt so happy and privileged, safe and confident that Drew will bring me back to earth very smoothly and that's exactly what he did! Can't wait to go back there!
Perfect hike for a quick workout. Two miles up to poo poo point, with 1700 feet elevation gain. You are rewarded with spectacular views of rainier and if you brought head lamps or lights for the return trip gorgeous sunsets. Must do if you are in the vicinity.
I don't glide, but nice hike to launch area. Appx 2 miles up and it will get the heart rate going.
Up the whole time up, constant switchbacks,... and I LOVED IT!!
The hike is definitely one to check off your list. The steep hike is definitely still worth it especially if you happen to catch paragliders launching from the top. You get great view of lake sammamish at the top. A great spot to catch sunrise. The hike does have a lot of loose rocks as steps so do watch out for the odd loose stone. Also hiking poles are very helpful on your way back to the parking lot. Advantage is it's very close to issaquah which saves you time rather than driving far to find a hike.
