Whitcomb Creek Park

Nice campground for people who want to enjoy the lake. It's newer, paved parking but no RV hook ups so plan on dry camping. It had its own seasonal boat ramp but it's closed later in the summer as the lake is lowered.

This is a good camping area and most sites have decent privacy. It's about $22 for a standard site. They have vault toilets and undermaintained portable toilets. But there is access to Green Peter just a few miles away. Overall a good spot

The camp ground was nicely maintained and close to the lake. Toilets are available but are basically a hole in the ground. Unfortunately our neighbors were very loud and had lights on until early morning which made it difficult to tent camp. Also the walking trail that goes down to the lake was difficult to find since they didn't redo it after finishing the new loop. It's not a bad place for families with campers/RVs but I would skip it if you're tent camping.

The cost isnt worth it for me to be that close to others.
