Whiskey Rose Saloon

I came in with my friends for a birthday party, and this is without a doubt the best service I have ever received. We started at a table with Katrina serving us, she recommended the Sarsaparilla Sour cocktail. We ended up doing shots of Jim Beam Peach, delicious. We had the wings, the Whiskey Rose cocktail. We ended up at the bar where Keaton, Erika and Ely recommended hot wings for a snack, which were delicious. Pictured are the menu, wings and Whiskey Rose. Service was quick, drinks and food were fantastic. As someone that lived in Arkansas and Texas, the BBQ here is too notch! I didn't get pictures of the Nashville chicken, but it was delicious!

Just tried this place a couple nights ago for the first time. Been 2 days in a row now! Service is awesome, food is great - so far I've tried the nachos, pizza, mac salad and hush puppies which were all amazing. The nachos here are my favorite - they load them with different toppings including corns, beans, and fresh jalapeños wish more places did this. The atmosphere is great too. Love the country music and huge bar in the center! Will be one of my regular spots now.

First time at this saloon. Ordered the fried mushrooms for appetizer & the pulled chicken sandwich with caeser salad. I can honestly say that my pulled chicken sandwich was the best. It tasted so delicious with the sauce they used with added coleslaw and there was tons of chicken! Very filling & satisfying! The place was relatively quiet for a Saturday night. I also had the Whiskey rose drink with gin and it was amazing! Ordered 2 of them, they were that good.

Pretty cool country bar, music is good, and loud! Some people say it’s too loud but I don’t agree! Apparently they have live music, I haven’t personally been there at a time where they have but it would be cool to see! Nachos are really good, and the chicken strips too! Pretty fun and relaxed atmosphere, staff are friendly and pretty quick for how busy it is! Definitely worth checking out!

We stopped by on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised w some nice drink specials $4 lone Star/$4 highballs. I got the 4 piece fried chicken and we easily could've shared it as 2 pieces was enough. Our server was super friendly. I think this place will do well in the Calgary scene!

Really fun concept! Loved the overall vibe and layout. Service was fast and efficient. We ordered the Country Fried Mushrooms. The waitress described it as comparable to a bloomin onion, except a mushroom. The batter and the flavour were really good but unfortunately it overpowered the taste of mushroom. I don’t think I would order this dish again. I had two beverages.. the Sasperella Sour and a Mezcal negroni.. both were served over ice chippits. I would definitely return because I loved the vibe but I think I’ll stick to a liquid lunch of beer or wine!

Whiskey Rose is a great bar to hang out at late night. Couple floors, tons of room, awesome horseshoe bar right in the middle so you can get drinks all around. Staff is good and they also have live music. Great fun place to hang out at.

Had a great night here! If you’re into the wild west or not; it’s still very fun, this is the place you’re gonna wanna go to! The food was absolutely delicious try the nashville chicken sandwich!. The prices of food and drinks were very reasonable. They have country music playing most of the time, which I loved. They also paid very close attention to the level of detail, so you will certainly feel like you entered a saloon in the early 1900s. The servers were very friendly and made the experience more enjoyable. I’d love to see more locations across Canada!

We went there today Saturday, July 9. The staff are amazing. They accommodated us. Our food was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place again. The reason we are dressed up in costumes is because we were playing a detective game and we were dressed as members of the clue team.

I really enjoyed my time here tonight! The staff were happy and helpful and the service was quick. Our server was eager to help us celebrate the team event we were there for and they were very accommodating of all of our requests. Additionally, the food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was modern, warm, and welcoming. Thanks for the great night!
