Story

Whiskey Jacques is the live music venue and sports bar in Ketchum, Idaho. With 8 HD big screen TVs and one projector screen, there is no better place than Whiskey’s to watch your favorite team. Our kitchen is famous for their brick oven pizza, awesome wings, refreshing salads, and tasty grinders. Our full bar offers you an assortment of draft and bottled beer, the finest liquors, and a great selection of wines by the glass. We have a beautiful upstairs available for private rentals, and can provide everything from entertainment to food for your next party!

Whiskey’s is Main Street Ketchum’s premier & historic live music venue. All season long Whiskey Jacques’ will feature the valley’s best musicians and bands as well as superb national touring acts. Whiskey Jacques’ is the only bar in Ketchum to see excellent live music up close and in a groovin’ party atmosphere. Also, don’t forget, every Sunday and Tuesday we have Dollar Night with a DJ and dollar well drinks all night long.

Great space but the hidden gem is the Mexican food. Amazing food. Friendly staff. Oddly not much whiskey for a bar called whiskeys. Either way great place!
We walked in at 7:45pm on a Sunday evening and the first thing we were told was that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. No problem! We grabbed menus. Sat ourselves, and quickly decided what to order. No waiter. No waiter. I finally went to the bar to place our food order in time. At 8:25, no food yet. Two servers came over to check what our order had been. We told both of them a Burger, Garlic Fries, and Spinach salad with Chicken. By 8:35 food came- yay! The garlic fries and the burger were good! We ordered tots with the burger and got fries instead. And, the spinach chicken salad, which was listed as an entree and cost $11, was smaller than the fries appetizer and drenched in olive oil, rendering is almost inedible. Overall, super disappointing and super slow to get our food. Also felt unwelcome walking in at 7:45pm. The servers were nice.... when they came around. Very disappointing for these hungry campers.
Early September. 11:00pm. Wedding season. People watching is gold. Good band. Good drinks.
Cool old Hemingway haunt. Not the way he would remember it, but the locals come here to drink. So, that hasn't changed. Big TV's solid burger, heavy pours. Just don't expect the most attentive service.
Hour fifteen for food. Their "grab your own food" system doesnt work because everyone who ordered behind you grabs YOUR food thinking it's theirs.

Karaoke was alright but this place is dying down for sure also I would suggest more a professional set up when hosting karaoke nights

New ownership is super unprofessional, canceled my two nights there with zero notice and zero care, really too bad because this place used to take care of a lot of great national acts
Very unfriendly service staff. A couple of the orders were messed up. As the gal brought out the corrected order, she literally slammed the plate down and made a rude comment. We could not figure out why she was so unfriendly until we watched her taking shots behind the bar while working as a server. Not a kind or warm place. : To the owner in regards to your response to my review: We called ahead and asked if we could bring kids in for dinner and to watch the NCAA game. You guys said that would be fine. We arrived shortly thereafter and ordered right when we got to the table. At the exact same time all of our meals arrived 9:25 pm the server told us that we needed to go! This was the first we had heard of this. Why would she have ever even allowed us to order? I asked her why she did not share this before we ordered the 10 meals? She stated she had lost track of time. At the very same moment she told us it was the law that kids needed to be out, she slapped the bill on our laps. We had not even finished our first bite. I told her I thought it was tacky. We ate and were gone. The waitress taking shots behind the bar during her shift would be concerning to me if I was the owner. Unless of course the female server I am referring to is the actual owner.
