Lefty's has been serving killer burgers, tasty subs, fresh salads and our specialty, hand-cut fries in beautiful Ketchum/ Sun Valley since 1993. We’re committed to serving a great quality meal at an affordable price for blue collars, white collars, visitors, and everyone in between. Lefty's casual atmosphere inside and sunny deck outside are a perfect place to grab lunch, dinner, or catch up with old friends. With 13 draft beer selections, nearly 30 bottles of beer and wines by the glass, you're sure to find your favorite cold beverage. And if you like sports, Lefty's is second to none with multiple HD TV's and satellites so you can always watch your home team no matter what sport you love. We love Lefty's and stop in every time we are in Ketchum. A no-frills pub with pub grub! Mushroom burger is tasty. Friendly atmosphere. Great staff. Outside seating is the best: mountain views, people watching, dog friendly. This is a low-key place where you place your order at a counter and bus your own table. It's a best experience.
One of my absolute favorites. If you want fine dining in an elegant atmosphere look elsewhere. But if you want consistently good burgers, sandwiches and salads paired with some incredibly cold draft beer on the picnic patio, this is your place. Always a good choice after a long hike or bike ride.
This is a pretty cool place to stop and eat. It’s a bar and grill, so you can expect to grab your favorite drink, play some darts, pool, or an arcade and then grab a wonderful hamburger. They have salads as well. You might call it a dive bar/grill. The outside seating was super ideal. Ketchum has fantastic evening weather, often. The patio was large and had a lot of options. The burger I had tasted amazing. The bun is homemade. Make sure to get the monkey fries. Sliced potatoes with a blend of spices. Just perfect. Nothing fancy here, just casual. I’d eat here again.
Popped in for Sunday lunch snack, burger and fries, the home made french fries are amazing, a food group on their own.nJust beat the crowd, 15 minutes later, it was 6 deep to order food, and they just kept coming......a good sign.nWait staff were helpful, and service was quick and easy.
I was checking out the town of Ketchum Sunday 7/9/2023 and wanting to sample the local fares, I happened upon Lefty’s. I am so glad that I did! It’s a quaint little joint at the foot of a ski slope, and it was quite busy which I read as a good sign. Although I had to stand in line waiting to order, the staff was doing their best to move things along. I noticed that the special was elk burgers, and when it was my turn to order, that’s what I chose. As a side I chose the “monkeys” which are spiced potato slices, like a waffle fry. I also chose bleu cheese for the burger which was the best choice I could have made. The order was ready in a short time, impressive considering the volume of food the cook was dealing with. The burger was absolutely delicious, the bleu cheese combined with fresh elk, made for an incredible savory experience, no condiments were needed and the burger was done to the best possible consistency combining flavors and retaining the natural juiciness yet not being over or undercooked. The burger’s bun was fresh, light, and wonderful. The monkeys were also spot on, not greasy, not dry, and spiced just right. I won’t pass through Ketchum again without stopping in and I look forward to my next visit. My apologies for the food pic, it does not portray the burger as well as it should have. I will fix that on my next visit!
