Ordered a mini cake for 2 people to enjoy. It was perfect! Beautiful, tasty and a good size. We cut it into 8 pieces and the each slice felt like enough. Thought the $28 price tag was such a good deal! Definitely recommend the vanilla cake with raspberry. We asked for no gumballs, to make it a little more kid friendly : I ordered a chai latte with oat milk for the road and it was also delicious. Will stop by again.
I ordered a unicorn birthday cake from here. It was BEAUTIFUL i did have issues with their being way to much extremely thick icing on it however, they were SO NICE and legit refunded the entire cake because of the issues. I am extremely impressed and i always love their cupcakes in store besides the icing issue the cake was super mosit and DELICIOUS.
My daughter 5 and I love Whisk. My personal favourite treat is the chocolate snack cake box which I think is made up of cake scraps and frosting but everything I’ve had is delicious, especially the almond croissant. My daughter gets the same thing every time we go - chocolate cupcake and kids hot chocolate - and it is always a hit! Staff is attentive and friendly. Usually lots of parking too. Definitely recommend.
Delish baked goods! We enjoyed a savoury scone, croque monsieur pastry and a birthday cake cupcake. Minus one star for a lukewarm chai latte overladen with a heavy tasting cinnamon topping. Staff were solid, too.
I stopped in on a cold morning after birdwatching along the Sturgeon River. Glad I did! Only 4 other folks inside. The counter staff were super friendly and helped me understand a dirty chai, lol. Had a large decaf one with oat milk and a spinach dip gallette. Yum! Hit the spot and warmed me up. I bought two cookies, a white chocolate raspberry scone, mini cheesecake and a chocolate caramel tart to test out at home. Hopefully they make it home . I'm looking forward to stopping by again when I'm out walking along the river. We've had their deliciois cakes and cupcakes before when they were located along Levasseur. Thank you for a great lunch and beautiful spot to eat and warm up.
I visited Whisk for the first time yesterday. It is a lovely little cafe with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have tons of food options that all look delicious. I ordered several things including a london fog, a pumpkin tart, a white chocolate raspberry scone, and a cinnamon coffee cake. The scone and cake were delightful; however the tart and London fog were not. The pumpkin tart had zero pumpkin and was primarily made of whip cream and the London fog tasted like water. I would still highly recommend going, but would suggest not getting those two items.
Called on a Monday and needed a cake for the next day then realized they're closed. Thought I'd email them to see if I can still get a cake last min. Someone emailed me back really quickly and said they can do it. We ordered the 2 layer cookies n cream cake and it was delicious. We've also ordered cupcakes for our office Xmas party this past year and it was also very good.
Delicious and flavourful coffees + great treats made perfect every time - warmup this fall with a dirty chai and pumpkin tart. Central location near downtown with good parking and a great ambience to hangout with a friend. I’m a weekly regular!
The chai latte was delicious, the pecan banana loaf and ginger molasses cookie 10/10, and the ambiance is perfect, lots of cute and comfortable places to sit. Highly recommend!
Ordered a birthday cake for my mom at the very last minute! Order placed at 10:30am and the cake was ready for pick up for 5:30pm. They are amazing and saved the day for us! The Cake was beautiful and tasted great. Not overly sweet at all!
