My review is base on lunch time. The time was around 12:30. The only person working was a bartender. I had to approach her to ask about ordering food and drinks, we had to seat ourselves. Once we put in our order our beers were brought over. Around 10 min later I was told that the cook said that they had no meatballs. So I decided to order a tuna melt. Again I was told that they had no tunafish. I decided to play it safe and order what my partner had ordered. Seeing that they had steak grinders on hand. The pandemic strikes again. Hard to get workers that want to do a good job. I was approach by the owner asking how my meal was. I told him not having 2 things that I ordered did not make it a nice time. He in turn blamed the new cook for not being able to find the items. Hope yourvisit goes better. I'll give it another go some other time.
The “manager “ of this place is extremely rude I asked for what flavor the wings came in & she listed them & I asked if they had honey barbecue by any chance & she says “did I say that” I don’t know who taught her how to speak to her customers but that was VERY rude. I hope she gets fired because that’s only making this place lose customers.
Whip city is one of my favorite Sports bars and I especially love it when Michelle is working .. she is such a sweetheart and very attentive with a great personality!Food: 5/5
Hi this is a bar that exists in Westfield. It's not amazing to be honest. They have a modest selection of bottled beer, approximately 7 beers on tap, and every variety of Bud Light-a-Rita imaginable. The outdoor patio is kinda cool though, I watched women's golf while finishing up some work.
The Whip had that magic beat of the rythum of the night from a brazilian and Spanish feeling. You could not help to dance and have a good time. I missed their food serving which closed at 10pm but the staff was very happy to answer any questions I ask. When I left it looked like a celebration of life.
The bar alone wouldn’t pass any inspection let alone their “kitchen” which is filled with roaches and rats. Last time I was there with friends we had ordered food and drinks and there was hair in 2 out of the 4 foods and the drinks were absolutely awful. 10/10 would never step foot in that establishment and I’m not very hard what so ever to be satisfied I don’t usually write reviews but I really think this deserves it and to warn anyone who has the whip in their future
Place is cool except last call was at 110am now its 139 and they are yelling at us to leave. Guess 2am close is false. Oh well.
newly renovated, it looks AMAZING! You can certainly tell that they put tons of money and effort into it to make it even better than it was. If you're looking to go out with friends on a Friday for drinks, dancing and mingling, The Whip is for sure a place to check out. Or if youre looking for somewhere to have lunch and a beer they have decent food also. Staff are always nice and will pretty much make you whatever.
Love this place! My wife and I really enjoy sitting outside on the deck. It's very spacious and there are several TVs outside. Great place for hanging out and watching the game with friends too. Service was fantastic and the food was really great. Exceeded my expectations for sure. Why not 5 stars then? Simply because the location is kind of terrible. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of parking which is a plus, but the close proximity to the Mass Pike entrance puts it on a VERY busy street that can sometimes make it a drag to pull in and out of the lot.
Had a pleasant lunch here. It's definitely a pub atmosphere with very few people here for lunch, but the price and food was very nice.
